I bought my first table saw directly from Evolution recently. It lasted about 20 cuts, then stopped working. Evolution customer services helped suggest a solution then, when that didn't work, arranged for it to be returned, fixed and sent back to me. The table saw has worked for about the same amount of use since then. I hope it continues to work for many years, but my confidence is shaken. At least Evolution seem to believe in it, since they fixed it quickly.

We purchased the R255 SMS-DB+ to replace the RAGE3-DB which was no longer available. We LOVED the RAGE3-DB! The R255 SMS-DB+, not so much. We use the saw to cut steel tubing. The new saw is harder to clamp the material for sawing. It is so bad that it can cause an accident. Also, the graduations on the new saw are not labeled as nicely as the old one. I have looked for parts for the RAGE3-DB, but the website shows everything is out of stock. We would really like to have another RAGE3-DB. The new saw was supposed to come with a multi-material cutting blade, this was missing from the box. I ordered and paid for, a steel cutting blade as well, but that is no reason to not include the multi-material cutting blade. So far we have been very disappointed.

on the double bevel mitre saw the back fence is not strong enough and is easily bent out of square when cutting thicker materials the only downside of this machine.

This is my 2nd review. I bought a circular saw and the “deck” is so warped I can’t use it. Super poor quality right out of the box. I do use my chop saw everyday though. I loaded a pic of it in my last review. I’m done reviewing now

Bought this hoping for it to be more accurate than my abrasive chop saw. It's not, when you tighten the workpiece clamp, it twists the whole base off square. I have it set at 90° and when I check after cutting it's 89°. It cuts a lot quicker than the abrasive saw and the blade does not get smaller as it wears like a grinding disc, but it's not worth the upgrade over my Parkside abrasive saw. Also, definitely wear eye protection as the chips of metal fly everywhere!

Good price and design, but seems there are some engineering problems to work out. Bought a concrete saw and it only lasted 2 days before it broke. Got a prompt replacement, so a good warranty, but the new one is showing the same signs of this problem.

This is a review of the Rage 5s zero-clearance throat plate upgrade. The product is generally well-made and fits the machine perfectly. I have used other zero-clearance throat plates for this saw previously. But the replaceable inserts on this one will hopefully make it more economic and long lasting than others. The only criticism I have so far is that the plastic insert seems quite flimsy. Long term use will tell if the product is value for money or not.

Whilst it was easy to place the orde the tracking facility was next to useless. THe UPS tracking site at one stage said that my delivery had been cancelled!! It turned out to be that I was given the wrong tracking number. Despite communicating to Evolution I received no apology for the fact that the goods arrived a day late despite paying £5.99 for next day delivery.

Hi Josh, I think I fixed two of my issues. Please share these comments with your management. 1. I flipped the front swiveling vice jaw 180 degrees by taking apart that whole assembly - now the front swiveling vice jaw does NOT raise up when tightening the material - the raising up ever so slightly, just like the EVO360, caused the cut not to be square. I now have square cuts and reduced burrs. 2. I also glued a small piece of wood to the button on the end of the chip tray. My model did not come with an easy way to lock in the tray as did my first EVO360 - the tiny button is very hard to turn. Even though the chip tray does not go past the cut slot when all the way in, there is less danger of the blade hitting the tray - which is what happened to me the first time I used it and the reason I think I nicked the blade probably causing my burrs, as you mentioned. 3. The rear positioning vice jaw is delivered in position 1 – all the way back. None of your literature – neither the website nor the manual says anything about the three potential positions – how/why or when to use them. I still do Not believe it is possible to make a cut in position 1. In order for the blade to cut through the material the travel stop adjustment screw has to be all the way down and when I did that the blade hit the chip tray and that’s when I nicked the blade. I sent you a photo showing that even with the stop all the way down the blade did not go through the material. 4. I also could not find the safety lock on the left side as shown in figure 18. Did you know that when the small lever on the cutting handle is pushed to the left the saw TURNS ON even when the blue handle is not touched – extremely dangerous. It’s not a two-step process to turn it on. I plan to produce a Utube video showing the issues with this chop saw and the magnetic drill press I purchased

I don’t have the saw yet should have it Friday or Thursday. I almost didn’t buy it because I had a 5% coupon but it wouldn’t let me use it on that product which I don’t understand. I should be able to use it on anything.

The saw and blade is bad ass. Your guys shipping and packaging sucks. First saw I ordered from amazon and box was destroyed. Guard was bent and could not even get blade onto saw. Your customer service said you guys did a better job of packing and shipping saw so second saw I ordered came directly from you guys. Same thing. Box was destroyed. No extra box, no extra packaging. Guard slightly bent but blade goes on. I have been using saw and it works great.

The tools are good value and very accurate for the price - do not order from the online store as the service and UPS who deliver the goods are terrible!

Happy with the chop saw but unhappy that I asked for 110v and received 240v, I would have returned but was urgently needing to use it :(

The saw motor is quite powerful, the blades cut well, the miter adjustments are nice. Saw cuts very close out of the box with no adjustments. The fence is not rigid enough, the front clamps will easily distort the fence with little force. The vertical clamp is not very functional, it’s absolutely useless if cutting short length material. Cannot position the vertical clamp close enough to the blade to be useful when cutting shorter material. I am considering returning this saw as the vertical clamp and fence issues are too big to look past for a nearly $1000 saw.

I recently purchased the gazebo and upon putting the canopy on one of the corner seams parted due to poor stitching, unfortunately i had to use it due to weather and time constraints. I hope to chance this up in due course but can’t currently due to being out of the country for 4 weeks

Next day delivery didnt happen, eventually arrived 5 days later but had to use other tools to complete job. Cant evaluate tool as havent used yet, but their pretty reliable as a brand.

I have used Evolution power tools for a few years now, and I have to say they offer some great products. Having recently purchased a new diamond blade for my circular saw, the product is great and of good value. The only criticism I have is that frustratingly, you have to spend £30 for free postage. The blade was £29.99 and so I had to pay near on £6 for postage. Left me feeling a tad disappointed for the sake of 1p, cost me around £6 more. I could have done collection from store - but this would have meant an hr round trip - time and the cost of petrol.
