Well, in brief, this is a good tool (355CPS, for me, it is used exclusively for cutting mild steel), at a good price and was delivered promptly to my door. With that being said, the lack of a quick release on the clamp makes this seem like a child's toy. The screw handle and connected clamp plate are awkward, not easy to turn (even with abundant oiling) and it is overall poorly designed. Where do you keep the attachment for pipe when not being used? (I used a rare earth magnet and stuck it to the 'chip diverter'). Why would you not include a quick release and charge $5. more for the tool and a chip tray for another $10.? We're doing this often enough, to make things happen quickly and efficiently. This does not meet those needs. No chip cup? You can get both of these on the upgrade model 380 for a measly extra $100. I own LOTS of tools and this one is disappointing, even with its strengths. I am not here to grouse about deficiencies, as I like this tool and it is heavy enough and light enough to move around my small metal shop. Cuts very clean (I am used to Diablo Steel Demon blades, so the jury is still out on this Evo blade), but apart from some chatter from the blade, all good besides these glaring omissions. Can't please everyone, right? If you're on a budget, buy this one. If you're expecting a well-designed saw with important features, buy the higher-priced upgraded one(s).... Side note: you will likely have this well built saw forever, so buy the best one that you can afford, even if it is more than you intend to spend. Thank you for your time.
