Cord is too short.....and too small for a construction tool. I do not know how the plastic housing will hold up. My Rigid plastic saw fell off the saw horses twice and broke the handle off each time. My old Skil Saws from the70's could fall off a roof onto the concrete,... just pick it up and go back to work..... The saw is a little slower presumably for torque and cutting difficult material or even wood with nails in it. This is a tool,.............the object of something like this is to help me...............I should not have to babysit it in order to prevent damage to it. If it can't take a beating,.. I will just toss it.
