The included blade cuts through mild steel, aluminum, PVC and wood very cleanly without leaving any burr. Mild steel limitation is 1/4-inch thickness so it can be used on schedule 40 pipe. I found that changing the blade to be a little awkward getting it past the blade guard. My only disappointment with the tool is the the vice does not hold its position at a 45 degree angle. I found that I need to check and readjust and re-tighten after about four cuts. I plan to add a "cheater" bar to the provided Allen wrench to be able to better tighten the bolts. There is too much "slop" in the bolt down slots for the angle markings to be reliable. Using a wood miter saw, I cut a 90 degree and 45 degree gauge out of a S4 wooden 4 x 4 to facilitate making and checking those settings.
