Not had the heat gun long, 10 days tomorrow, and so far only used it to shrink insulation tubing.
Manual suggests Position 1, but this does not heat up above 50º, despite setting 100º. It requires Position 2 to get the gun to heat up above the 50º point.
In the manual, under, Additional Safety Instructions for Heat Guns, General, Paragraph 3, requires amendment, currently it states – “Always switch the tool unattended while switched on.”
