“If I did it again I’d buy the one with the steel base instead of the aluminum one. The base shattered when I caught a piece of metal in the blade and it also damaged the teeth on the blade. Still usable but annoying. Also the detents should either be more accurate or adjustable. Again if I had a steel base I could have more easily remedied this.”

“Saw cuts better than expected and leaves abreally nice finished usable edge with no grinding required. Only issue I had is when I unboxed the saw the overmolded rubber grip on the front handle was falling off. Not a deal breaker but expected a little better quality out of evolution.”

“Upgraded from previous table saw. Very pleased with the result. Would have given 5star being value for money but only 4 as issues with setting up. ie washer on saw blade wrong way round causing riv knife problem and using scale could be explained better. But otherwise very satisfied.”

“Setup instructions not clear but a great tool. The QR code on the instructions was for a different model. When I set up the tool I initially put the rails on upside down and it was a real pain to alter them. Other than that the tool seems robust and the laser is a real boon. I bought it for the depth stop which I will need to practice more (my ineptitude, not the machine) Overall I am very pleased. The terrible and inaccurate instructions are the reason for only 4 stars.”

“This is probably my 5th request for a review maybe because my saw I purchased was not fit for purpose due to having no capability of measuring any bevel cuts and not supplied with just a wood cutting blade. This review may well be left direct on site for future people thinking of purchasing direct with Evelution!”

“I am very happy with my Rage 5S table saw. I've never used on before but am getting on great with it. The only thing I don't like is the fact it is so wide on it's wheels it will not go though a household door or into your shed or though your gate. This then makes things worse because it's then a really awkward lift on your own as you have nothing to get hold of to lift it.”

“This saw would have received 5 stars "If" it had accomodated a fourth bolt down point in the "chip box" area. I bought the saw to mount to a portable miter saw stand that has 2 wheels that the stand can be folded up onto the 2 wheeels for portability and storage convience. I currently have it set up so the missing bolt down area is on the bottom (closest to floor) when the saw is resting on the two wheels. Hopefully the three bolts will hold it. Other than that.... "a great saw"!”

“We are a heavy industrial fab & machine shop. I had purchased 1 of these saws personally & liked it enough that I saw a use for them in our shop. After trialing my saw @ work & it proving itself, we have since purchased (4) of these. Each fitter loves the convenience of having one at their work station & not having to go to our big saw to cut braces & handrails. They have also saved us time since they are not walking back & forth; they are more productive.”

“I love how smooth, quickly, and precisely my new Evolution S380CPS chop saw cuts tube and angle steel! I’m amazed how the cut pieces are only slightly warm right after cutting and I can touch them with my bare hands. The only drawback I’ve noticed is the fence/vise only works for making cuts of 90 degrees down to 45 degrees. I needed to make 25 degree cuts and had to separately make a wedge and screw it to the back fence/vise and then try to get the front vise to clamp the piece in place. Otherwise, it’s a fabulous saw.”

“As a keen DIY-er the mitre saw I purchased is perfect for all sorts of curring jobs. The price point was good and because I have a branch of Evolution nearby, I was able to collect when the delivery arrangements went awry around Christmas - the delivery slippage is the reason I knocked one star off, though of course Christmas / New Year is a difficult time for suppliers.”

“This saw is a game changer. About 60% of my business is railing work. Making multiple cuts has aways been done on a large miter bandsaw.
