This is the first mitre saw I have ever purchased & so far it has performed brilliantly

Robust, with a very sharp blade. Could do with a longer mains lead.

It works very well, I have only had it a few days to cut new skirting board. The one problem I have with it is that it is impossible to use the clamp that holds your work piece when cutting at 45 degree angle as the saw handle hits the clamp bolt.

Light and sturdy fairly easily put together, some of the diagrams should be clearer. Very pleased with everything and collapsible legs on the stand mean I can move it without completely dismantling the whole thing.

The Evolution sliding compound saw is simple to assemble and appears very robust. I like the disc braking system that allows a slow start and quick speed reduction after use. There is a switch to turn the laser light on and off which is useful however, while it provides a good guide the laser light is quite broad, therefore I turned it off for more accuracy. I cut and fitted my kitchen unit cornices in no time.

I have just used my power saw for the first time and was well impressed with it. I was a bit disappointed that the dust bag was not included. I have found that the accuracy of blade was not accurate and watched the online video for correcting this but i must say it wasn't very clear so will watch again ! apart from that the saw seems very good.

I have used Evolution mitre saws (Rage3) for many years and would recommend them. The only problem I have is the cost of spares ie replacement motor brushes over £19.00! including postage (one small envelope). Apart from this a very good product.

Light weight and ergonomic, easy to use, cannot give it 5 stars as not yet needed to use all of the available functions, so far though very pleased.

I own a black n Decker finger sander in NZ an I recon the evo I've just bought is better.it's more like a propper tool than a toy.firstly the wheel at the end is metal not rubber. Which means it can handle the heat of sanding steel.secondly the evo is quieter in the motor.and three the ability to change angle is a great feature.

I bought the compound mitre saw last week and used it for the first time yesterday. I found it to be compact and light making it easy to transport. It is accurate and will complete over 90% of the tasks I need a mitre saw for. I love the fact that it will cut a variety of materials. i am also impressed with the three year guarantee. My only negative comment is the cost of replacement blades.

Price and build quality, I have yet to cut anything with the tools but they look very capable.

I now have a few Evolution tools. The cross cut mitre saw is brilliant. I bought the Evolution system (engine, generator, power washer) and had serious problems with connectivity (the engine front frame and gen frame being bent). This was a disappontment but the seller (not Evolution) also let me down somewhat. I also believe the checking (when the unit had to be returned to Evolution) could have been more thorough. Having said that Evolution (Katie) finally did do a great job in resolving all this. If the resolution had been better I would be giving 5 stars.

Good quality bed, cuts well. Easy to set up blade / fence. However instructions are useless. I learnt more from reviews on YouTube. Also one of the extendable sections is higher than the main bed when closed, this makes the cut not square.
