Seems like a nice solid piece of kit , shame it's made in China.

Quite light for being the tool it is. Also powerful and with a vac attached very little dust

This has become my new favourite work tool. It has sped up my decorating refurbishment work by at least a third. It would actually be 4 and a half stars and not four but this isn't an option. The reason it loses a little bit is one of the wire occasionally turns the led work light off and that is the only reason. I just hope the hook and loop backing lasts as I find on most sanding tools this is the first thing to give out tends not to be included in warranties.

The saw is nice and light and does a decent job for a basic level saw, it just could do with the soft start feature but then the price starts creeping up.

Good motor power. Long lasting I have a chop saw for 6 years that has cut a lot of mild steel. Good value for money.

Bought this after my hand mitre hand saw broke while I was building a new garden shed, wish I'd bought it a lot sooner. Cuts with precision and ease , no bother when there's any unseen nails (as I'm using reclaimed timber) it just keeps on cutting with no damage to the saw. Has made the job a lot faster and easier. Great saw....10 out of 10.

Did what I wanted, though blade fairly blunt after a few uses. After seeing demonstrations cutting nails in wood I thought this was going to last longer, but now my cuts are no longer sharp, and I haven't been cutting anything bar wood.

Good professional type tool, ideal for cutting skirting boards with various angles. Somewhat disappointed to find that a dust bag wasn't included.

Great benchsaw for the money, fabulous blade & very good cutting ability, comes flatpack however it’s well packaged with easy to understand instructions, plus supplying you with the right tools to build the bench up, only used it a couple of occasions at this time but overall I’m well pleased. I purchased a sliding mitre saw and stand. The saw works well and is accurate enough for general DIY. The stand is a good design, solid and folds small enough to easily store. There were build quality issues with the stand which need to be addressed by Evolution quality control. An M8 tap was required to clean the majority of threads during assembly of the stand. Also, one of the saw mounting brackets clamping pressure adjustment screw thread was stripped. This was overcome by fitting a lock nut each side of the mounting. Generally both were good value for money.

I needed a sliding chop saw for some time after being let down by the one I purchased from a "reputable" make - no spares available when mine became damaged. The Evolution Rage3-S slide saw paid for itself in just one small project - making a large windchime from aluminium tubing. Three cuts, two minutes! Barely any finishing off to do either on the metal. My next project required a broken construction scaffold board to be trimmed down in preparation to be re-purposed to seating. Effortless, and again with only the barest of finishing to the cut edges; several light passes with 120 grit sandpaper for smooth edges in fact. If the Rage3-S continues in this vein, I can see a love affair developing between Evolution power tools and me.
