“I bought the Rage 4 saw from CPC, it arrived in 30 hours, Very good. The saw itself is excellent and works very well, just a couple of gripes; it has a chain to hold it in the closed position. What an after thought! a really poor quality bodge which gets in the way of the vice handle, I took that off straight away. The other moan is a rubber pad which one has to attach to the vice jaw, almost impossible but glue works well. All in all a very good buy at a very good price from CPC”

“R210 SMS saw .I am well satisfied with this tool and am sure I will make good use of it.For the Black Friday price of £100 it is very good value. The reason I did not mark it Very Good is the fact that the dust port adaptor , One holddown and the front clamp are not included, And to locate a source of these to buy now is impossible.”

“Evolution R185CCSL240 1200W 185mm Circular Saw I have had for some time some large boards of Mahogany 12" wide x 4" thick x 8 ft long which are too heavy to lift onto my table saw which has only three inch cutting capacity. I decided to but the Rage circular saw so that I could slash these large pieces into more usable sized boards. Using the side fence and cutting 30mm depth, followed by 55mm depth then turning the boards over and repeating, I was able to convert the wood very easily. The Rage saw went through the Mahogany like a hot knife through butter and made the job so easy. This is a seriously good piece of kit which will be a favourite tool in my workshop. I highly recommend it as it performs as well as top brand saws at twice even three times the price. Regards David Jennings”

“My new evolution Fury 5-s Saw bench is marvellous. I thought that there was a deal too much hype about cutting ability of the blade but, I really like the 2mm kerf. This is a great boon when doing smaller more intricate cutting jobs. Great machine, great customer service from Evolution regarding parts. Brilliant! Mike”

“Great tool and cuts really well. Virtually no sparks although the chips are a little warm. Cuts quickly and cleanly, very nice sturdy base unlike others I’ve seen. I gave it 4 out of 5 as mine doesn’t have the quick adjustment mechanism on the vice like they do in the picture which is annoying but wouldn’t put me off. The only other thing is make sure you wear ear defenders when using this as the ringing noise you get from cutting thin metals is very loud. All in all very pleased with the machine and would recommend if you do a lot of cutting like I do, especially if like me you work in doors and don’t want the dust and sparks generated from an abrasive saw. One last thing the saw packs down to a nice compact size with a handy carry handle in the middle which is really nice feature!”
