I bought the Rage3 to repack an old mitre saw that was very tired, but I didn’t realise just how much difference there was to this piece of kit until I used it! The Rage3 is a super tool to use. I recommend if you need their help talk to the helpline guys they are very good, professional and you can tell in how they speak they are proud of the kit they support.

great little saw for diy. one slight problem . on the 45* setting i found , on mine at least, that the blade just caught the fixed aluminium upright at the back on right. after the first time it was cut so ok. there is no dust bag so i tried the one out of my wife's vac- very painful when the wife catches you. i ordered a cloth bag one off ebay .taped a plastic bag on temporarily. works upto a point. make sure you note that there is a pointer imprinted on the surface for setting at 90*. don't assume that it is the back plate or you will be out by 2 * it is so dinky and perfect for use when screwed onto a movable folding bench. saved me hours cutting up 1800 mm. x 50 mm. round stakes into 200 mm lengths with mitres, one 45* cut is two mitres - for knocking into the grass, to edge between the lawn and wood chippings. definitely one of the best tools i have bought. could not find it any cheaper than £60 from screwfix.- upto £70 + on ebay. after reassessing and using i now rate it 5 star.

The mitre saw does what it says on the description. It was a pity I had to buy the dust bag as an extra.

Good looking product, assembly quite logical although the instructions could be a little more user friendly. Very disappointed that it doesn't come with a DUST BAG. What makes this worse is that the Evolution website is identified as being Insecure, making a purchase unadvised.

Easy to assemble and cuts lovely. I bought the Rage3 with an accessory pack and stand. Don't bother with the accessory pack if you buy the stand would be my advice, as it is a waste of money. Make sure you check the vertical and horizontal planes for squareness on a bit of scrap wood first, as both needed tweeking square on mine.

haven't used it yet but very disappointed for the money spent out that you get no dust bag included

tool does what i expected, it works fine. However on the first cut one of the four motor mounting screws fell out! Fortunately it droped onto the work piece and I was able tp fing the offending hole and refit it. not a good start.

The rage 2 is a versatile saw of good build quality. I have used the saw to cut pipework 2", 3" and 4" without any issues. I have also used it as a wood chop saw for 4" x 4" timber. The multi material blade is a blessing, little or no burrs and no changing blades for different materials, saves me time and cost. A negative is that there is no location to store the pipe block and allen key when not in use. This leaves them open to be lost on site. There is some room available in the raised base that could be utilised for a clip/pocket/drawer/compartment.

I bought the PRO-MSAW-RAGE3-DB saw, new, through eBay and have had problems cutting mitres and squares until I discovered the bed is not square and the laser is out of line. Every time I use it, I have to level the saw horizontally and vertically as the calibration seems wrong. The ironic thing is.. I gave my 16 year old DeWalt saw to my son. Two weeks hence and not a squeak from customer support. I'm ashamed to say that other countries make better and reliable tools!!!

I purchased a Rage3 mitre saw and a Rage5S table saw. Both excellent quality. Love the table saw, but both could really do with a 'soft start' feature.
