“Clean cut but not square on 90' mark, needs a bit of tweaking but after a few tries gets there in the end, and wants to push the back fence out of position when tightening vice when cutting 45', cant be fixed to a bench either but all said and done the cold cut is a massive differance to the years of abrasive disc cuts ive made, few sparks, little or no burr, just wondering how long the disc will last but still never going back to abrasive”

“Easy to set-up but only just started to use the saw so no idea how good it will be in time. I think the reviews should be done after six months so a true value can be obtained. Where can I purchase the left hand side extension please?”

“Well I do not think happy actually counts for me ..having spent hours surfing the net and after numerous reviews across the board settled on an Evolution 3S ..all good until when un packing the contents and reading the assembly instructions ..it clearly states that a " Dust Bag " comes as standard on the model I purchased ..no dust bag ..of course ..Screwfix tell me Oh no a dust bag is not supplied with that model ???..when showing the staff the contents list and what's standard ..they read on their webpage ..and quote me ..not supplied with this model , no idea why that's just what it says on here ( indicating screen ).. When speaking to Evolution Technical staff they ask me where I bought it ..Screwfix ..Ah that's why there's no bag ..Its a Promotional offer ??.. What company on Gods Earth ..when promoting an item LEAVES OUT a vital piece of equipment ..now I know it's a small point but none the less a very poor show ..so before actually parting with your money make bloody sure all the " Standard Components " are actually in the box ..so now rather than use the Wife's Hoover ..( no chance ) and bugger that up I will be making a right mess everytime I turn it on .. Sorry but you asked me to review the item ..I just hope you read and perhaps even reply to what your customer's actually think ..regards Dave Murphy .”

“I have just purchased the Rage 3B Mitre saw and while it makes excellent cuts and is generally well made but it is let down a little by the Hold Down Clamp system.The threaded holes for the clamping bolt at the base of the tube are too short and the bolts seem to be loose.A poor arrangement for an otherwise good tool.”

“Mitre saw stand Great product, lightweight but sturdy. Not too big so easier to store. Only complaint is the adjustment knobs at the ends make it impossible to stand the item on its end without risking damage to the adjustment knobs.”

“Previously had a S.I.P. 10" sliding mitre saw, but it packed up on me and spares weren't available. My wife bought me this one as I wanted a more compact sliding saw. This Rage 3S is the ideal sliding mitre saw, compact, robust, and ideal for my current requirements. It was easy to assemble and test. Works nice and smoothly, is almost as noisy as my other, but as I wear ear and eye protection, that's not a problem. Screwfix had it on offer so it was a real bargain.”
