A very well-built tool with lots of power. The only problem I had with it was that the blade it had when it shipped was not the blade I needed to cut small pieces of rebar. I finally got it right on the third blade which is a multi-purpose blade used to cut numerous types of material. I'm not sure if there was an option as to what blade you could order with the saw, but that would be very helpful. Also, a reminder to first-time buyers of the Evolution Chop Saw that the metal chop saw is fixed and is different from a wood chop saw in which the entire cutting head moves. This movement allows for putting smaller blades on the wood chop saw because the blade can be moved forward onto the wood material. With the metal chop saw it only moves up and down so you have to have the exact diameter blade that the saw was designed for. You also need to review the material you are going to cut and match it with that specific blade teeth. I would like to see a 14" diamond-tipped blade for the saw because I think that would be the best match and safest blade to cut small-width pieces of metal plate and metal rods. Thanks; Ed Dvorak

I love this saw, it has everything you could want and it's built like a tank! The cuts are fast, clean and square. I'm glad to finally get away from the dust of an abrasive chop saw and a wandering blade. The hold down options are probably my favorite part, it's just so versatile. This saw is the Cadillac of mitersaws and is a pleasure to use. Shipping was fast, assembly was easy. I never had an ounce of buyers remorse. I only wish I hadn't waited so long to get it.

Very good well made and worth the money. But needs more accessories and up grades. Rage 5 throat plate top job. A replacement quick on off switch would be a good idea. Your own make. Better push sticks. The ones supplied are flimsy to thin for the hand. Bigger wheels?.

I have recently purchased the Evolution 800B Mitre Saw and also the stand. Both Items are robust and easy to use, it has a wide cut and the laser guide comes in useful but can be obscure by sunlight. The multi-purpose blade is very good, I have cut aluminium, UPVC & wood, and I have found it extremely good to use. I have used it to cut the battens, cladding and aluminium trims in the attached photo

This chop saw has all the power you'll need plus ease of use except one thing... The clamp that grips the (in our case) metal to be cut is awful to adjust. You have to turn and turn the Y-shaped wheel from one position to another. Other Evolution models have a quick-release adjust. No wonder this one was on sale. I love using the saw, but curse every time I have to adjust the clamp more than a half inch.

I already have a 14 inch Evolution cut off saw that is a great addition to my power tool collection. Having the portability of the circular saw covers all my needs for metal cutting. I would highly recommend this product.

Really pleased with the RAGE5 table Saw excellent value for money and simple to set up. Only downside is that I now find out Evolution do not sell a dust extractor for this product as their current product is not suitable for this saw as it requires a double port extractor. Also it would be good if Evolution included facilities to store the tools on the side of the unit.

Hi. Recent purchase: S355 MCS CHOP SAW Let me just start by saying: “life savor” I basically had a job starting up. The job requires precision cuts. The item arrived timely!! Thank you!! The saw saved me many hours of fabrication. I am extremely happy with the machine. Every cut was perfect. I am grateful for all of the components leading up to a precision cut. This saw is one of my prides to all my equipment. Will there be a table specifically designed for this saw soon? If that is the case I surely may pick up. 5 star rating on the chop saw. Again!!! Y’all saved me from 10 additional hours of labor.

Hello, I completely understand Evolution is a business, and a review from one individual is likely insignificant from a global perspective. That being said, the life I am living depends, in part, on some of the company's products. In 2021, I purchased the Evolution S380CPS. I recently sold it and upgraded to the Evolution S355MCS. In my view, the 355 offers a tremendously improved cutting platform, compared to the 380, on which to safely miter material without repositioning the stock. Some of the added features on the 355 making the saw easy to use include: the dual sliding clamps on the height adjustable bar, sliding saw head, rear stabilising leg and the positive stops at several mitering positions. I have recommended the 355 to two of my friends who each have a professional, brick and mortar metal working business. I also just purchased the S210CCS. Again, the product is overwhelmingly excellent, but similar to a grain of sand in one's eye on an otherwise healthy body is the edge guide. As one who is beginning a home-based business using 16- to 11-gauge steel sheet metal, I really need the edge guide. Unfortunately, the guide is useless for metal less than .25". I would also have liked the ability to choose which blade comes with a saw. I need the thin metal cutting blade for the 355 and 210 because as I said, I mainly work with 16- to 11-gauge common steel. After trying to get by with the include-blade and having less than ideal cuts on thin metal, I will definitely purchase thin metal cutting blades for both the 355 and 210. Overall, the tools are great feats of engineering. I highly recommend both saws and look forward to great service from each tool.
