“I ordered two different blades for my bench saw. One turned up and is excellent as expected but an empty bot was delivered a day later. The driver was told and he called his boss. I got in touch with evolution CS and have yet to get a reply apart from you asking for a review.”

“I bought an Evolution R210SMS mitre saw to assist with construction of a decking area and it has certainly made life easier. The saw is easy to assemble although it would help if the illustrations were on the same page as the instructions for that step rather than having to flick backwards and forwards through the manual. Actual operation is simple and the cuts precise, the laser marker being particularly helpful in positioning the material. Working with long sections of decking (4.8m) means that you must provided adequate support to achieve a good cut but that's just common sense. I have not had another power mitre saw so I cannot compare performance with other models; I am, however, more than happy with this saw and would recommend it for DIY'ers and occasional use by professionals.”

“I have the table saw and sliding mitre saw. The table saw was replaced free of charge for an updated version. This fixed the weakness in the tilting blade function. Since then it has been well used. My only small criticism is the inability to create a zero clearance plate because the main chassis is too high to accommodate a different plate. Means that thin cuts fall into the innards of the system and are tricky to remove. The sliding mitre saw Is such a good servant but like all mitre saws it sprays saw dust far and wide. I would certainly recommend both saws.”

“I'm in my 70s and I find this saw to be so easy to use and the finished product makes it look as though I'm a professional. It's perfectly cut the wood for the decking with really clean cuts. Even the small jobs for my OO model train layout. I should have bought on years ago. If you are in doubt, do what I did - go onto YouTube where you'll find loads of easy to understand information.”

“I had the EVOLUTION R255SMS 255MM ELECTRIC SINGLE-BEVEL SLIDING MITRE SAW 220-240V for 1 month before the motor give up and had to return it and because of a lack in supplies it could not be replace, great saw so it was a shame it broke.”

“Needed a replacement ciurcular saw height adjuster and screw as existing one has thread stripped, so was not securing properly. Emailed Evolution with requirements based on spares list included with my saw, and received reply with part numbers within 2 days - one part slightly different from book. Ordered parts by phone, and received them in 4 days. Great service!”
