“The box it came in was extremely beat up, looked like it had been pushed around a warehouse for months. Inside the saw and parts were OK. Set up was easy despite pictures only instructions. The saw needed very little to calibrate, it was set well from the factory. Am sceptical about the plastic cogs but time will tell.”

“I bought this saw to do some detailed brickwork as a diyer. The saw is excellent. Very clean cuts easy to use and well balanced. The only thing I had to get was an adaptor so my (standard) hose fitted. Great product well priced and reliable.”

Hi Matt, Great to hear the saw is performing well for your detailed brickwork and that it’s easy to use and well balanced. Noting the adaptor requirement for your standard hose is just helpful feedback. Warm regards, Team Evolution Power Tools

Cordiali saluti, Team Evolution Power Tools

““I reached out to Evolution first, but Nick said the saw was misused without explanation and wouldn’t be covered, and didn’t reply when I asked for details. Alan J, you’ve been really helpful instead — giving me part numbers and where to order them. Thank you very much.””

“I'd always held off from buying thinking that the cost outweighs the amount of use I'd give it, but I eventually got a deal on mine and now regret not getting it sooner as I love using it so smooth and quiet to use with great accuracy even for a diyer. And then went a step further and bought the stand also, another great product.”

Thanks for sharing your experience, John! We’re delighted to hear you’re enjoying the smooth, quiet performance and the accuracy, even for a DIYer. “Evolution tools are great I’ve got the r255sms and also the R255TBL+ and I’ve just purchased the left hand extension of which is a fantastic accessory to the table saw but I’ve only given it 4 stars for the simple reason that there is no clamping screws so I had to make my own so was not pleased about that for the price or even a few extra pence I’m sure they could be included in the kit. Come on Evolution it’s the talk everyone is on about it you listened to your customers before so come guys bring the stars up to a full five again.”

We’ll pass this feedback to our product team so we can consider including them in the kit. If you’d like, we can help source compatible clamps or advise on a quick workaround. Please share your order number and any specifics, and we’ll assist promptly. Kind regards, Team Evolution Power Tools
