“Excellent product. Easy to set up, clear instructions. Easy to use. Provides accurate and precise cuts. The only downside is that it doesn’t come with a dustbag as standard”

“Pros: Folding stand with wheels. Multi-purpose blade. Dust extraction. After sales advice and service. Cons: The length of time it took to assemble the stand and the lack of clear assembly. The multi-purpose blade not rip-cutting wood posts efficiently or accurately and needing to buy an additional specific wood blade at £35. The adjustments that need to be made to make accurate cuts parallel and upright to the table. A missing nut for the stand.”

“Assembly instructions were ridiculous. Diagrams were not much more that a white page. Even installation of blade was vague. Videos were just as bad as manual. This could have been so much less painful. Would never buy another evolution product for this reason alone even if it turns out that the product is great. Took hours for two of us to assemble and we are used to doing this sort of thing.”

“Had an Evolution chop saw in the past, had others since, no comparison. the build quality and the reliability in my opinion cannot be beaten, a pleasure to use, would certainly recommend Evolution to anyone looking to purchase.”

“Rage5-s, Relatively easy to assemble. Good table saw that is portable, with a bit of grunt, easy to store folded up. Saw performance is good and the rails and guides work well. I am using in renovation work second fit mainly to rip skirting sand architraves in Victorian property. Contacted customer services regarding 2 missing bolts and no response after 4 days..... bolts from guide so not a big issue. Tool store for push handle does not fit as described in manual. These two points take 1 star from a five. I have purchased 5 evolution tools and the mitre saw stand. All good performance and value no significant complaints. I am a self builder and DIY user. EVOLUTION - you have to support your products, pay attention to your customers.”

“Bought this on the basis of some very good reviews. For DIY use it will be all and more I need. Paid less in a limited time deal offer from Screwfix than used ones go for on eBay. It’s a sturdy, quite bulky piece of kit so make sure you have ample storage.”

“Great saw for the price only gripe I bought it from screw fix did not come with a dust bag which would of only cost penny’s also the 2 supports and the stop is missing looked at buying the stand but it’s dearer than the saw so over priced”
