“Bought their DIY sliding miter saw and stand. Used it to cut 4 by 4s for a craft project of my wife's. Saw worked well. I am pleased with my purchase.”

“Bought the sliding mitre saw sms210 including an option plus kit. I mainly bought this extra because the main saw did not have a dust bag which I thought was important. The assembly instructions are difficult to follow and joinery is not my trade. However the vids on you tube made assembly easy to do and I suggest everybody does this. I have now tried all the wood cuts that the saw will perform and I am delighted with the accuracy and cleanliness of the cut. Nice and sharp. The saw seems to well made and the large securing heads make loosening and tightening a comfortable action. The laser aids accuracy and the overall design and finish looks and feels really good. I congratulate Evolution who have achieved through continual improvement on previous models, a really ergonomic quality saw which encompasses many safety features. The only issue I have noticed in the first two weeks is an almost non existent dust extract system. The bag that I paid extra for doesnt catch 10% of the dust and it is not much better with a vacuum. There’s got to be a better way! That said, I think the saw is really good value for money and I will put up with hoovering up afterwards.”

This is not a fault. The unit is fitted with soft start and is supposed to operate in this way.

“I owned a Evolution fury 3 and have now upgraded it to a Evolution Power Tools R255SMS+ Multi-Material Sliding Mitre Saw with Plus Pack, 255 mm, I have always been impressed with Evolution power tools, so much so that I have also just purchased the Rage 5-S Multi-Purpose Table Saw, 255 mm as well, 10 out of 10 as far as I'm concerned.”

“I've never had much in the way of skill when it comes to DIY, so I figure it's probably worth getting decent tools to help reduce the chances of things going wrong! Very pleased with my sliding mitre saw, instructions are easy to follow, simple to put together and use. It has done everything asked of it so far with no dramas, making me look better than I probably am, lol. Recommended.”
