Excellent cross saw and the composite blade means you do not loose all the cutting teeth is catch a nail. Used it for laminate flooring which usually blunts the blade but no problem with this one

i bought the gt600 engine unit to power the jet wash and the generator i also bought from evolution....the wheel mount weld failed so i had to send it back...they put engine in a new frame...first day back and the weld on the support leg failed??? phoned up and they are sending me a new frame to fit the engine at home to save it going back again....if it wasnt for the customer service from evolution i would have gone else where.... the generator i bought was also faulty , i sent it back and it was changed for a new unit....again customer service saved the day.... a big thank you to sandra who works there....

Evolution EVO180 steel cutting saw comments as follows :- 1. Enclosed instructions hopeless - need to go online to get adequate instructions 2. Saw guide basic and fiddly to accurately set to ensure guide parallel to blade 3. Actual cutting performance found to be very good when cutting 6mm flat steel

Could do with a better quality blade. The one fitted is very "tin-sounding". For the weight, it is not too difficult to handle and not as noisy as a Stihl saw.

The product felt good in the hands, solid and yet easy to handle. Plenty of power for the job it was designed to do. With the right sanding belt hardwood was easily worked and shaped. Would recommend this item for detail sanding, and I'm about to try it out on rusting metal and paintwork.

Overall I'm pleased with the Evolution Tablesaw. One fault was with one of the wheels that had fallen off in transit. The wheel could not be retained because there was not a suitable groove on the spindle to take the circlip. The first saw delivered was damaged and had to be returned. A replacement was promised on the wednesday but did not arrive until friday. Wednesday was wasted waiting all day for nothing. All three deliveries were outside the 3 hour slot advised by XDP Express, albeit early, but had arrived before I could get home to take delivery.

What a lovely piece of machinery! Well made and easy to use. I would have given the the RAGE3-S a very good rating, but for the following reason. When using the depth stop, the blade doesn't cut all the way to the back fence. Not sure if this could be addressed in some way. Perhaps with a longer slide or moveable back fence. Something needs to be altered so that the back of the workpiece sits under the centre of the blade.

Easy assembly, using on line video. The saw is robust enough, and should be OK for my d.I.y. projects.

The saw is very good, ample for DIY jobs in the home. The only problem I found is the span is limited on the slide ,andI would prefer to pay a few quid more and get a dust collection bag ,the laser is very handy and the whole package is fantastic value for money .I have the use of a Makita chop saw but needed the slide action for laminate flooring, same results for power cut etc but blade does tend to give a small splintered edge if chopping studding. Saying that, blades are a preference for the job in hand .BUY, BUY,... BYE.

Easy to set up and it cuts effortlessly. The only thing that stops it being perfect is the lack of any facility to collect dust/waste.

Brought the Evolution Mitre Saw Stand with Extensions. Great bit of kit with good adjustments for the roller supports which also double up as a decent stops (in both directions) for repeat cuts. I do use it on uneven ground from time to time though and it would have been useful if the legs had slight adjustment in them to compensate for this. Excellent otherwise.

Great value for the money, little used so far but all appears to okay. Mitres are good, a very clean cut even on thin plastic. A good level of features on this machine, the saw stand is a must, easy to put together, strong and stable. My only slight angst is that the motor sounds a little harsh. But overall would recommend this product.

Very good bit of kit the only thing that was a little disappointing was that I had to spend almost 2 hours setting up the cutting angles right. Why this could not be done at manufacture I don't know ?

Excellent mitre saw for active DIY person. Laser facility not used, but not required anyway. Can make very accurate cuts and cut even very small slices of wood off when your measurements prove to be just out.
