The original was excellent on delivery could not ask for better service. But upon opening the box noticed that one of the brushes had popped out,not unscrewed but the whole retainer was hanging on the spring of the brush. I pushed the whole part back in but upon use kept on popping out. I then had to reorder which again was excellent service it was a shame to spoil overall purchase as the second saw is working OK.

Set up description could have been clearer, but once assembled cut very well and easy to set angles. Had to buy collection bag separately which I thought should have been supplied with machine.

It would be very helpful if some who writes the instruction sactually opened the packing, assembled the product and learnt in DIY terms what all the functions are. Overall, excellent product and great value for money.

Best feature is the multipurpose blade- I can cut solid plastic skirting boards without melting them (never managed this before with circular saws). Everything else is good, as always more slide length and rotation would be better. The clamp is poor- a cam/overcentre version would be much better than the screw mechanism.

They do what it say's they do on the box. Good quality, good price. Some instructions in the setup manuals are a bit confusing with regard to setup and mounting saws on workbench. Overall good tools.

The product is great and is exactly what it say's it is. I'm sure that I'll have many years of good service with it. On the downside I had some trouble with the online registration of the product and sent an email to customer services, I did get an automated reply but I'm afraid that nearly FOUR weeks on I've still not had any other communication from them. If this is an indicator of their customer service then I dread to think what may happen should I have an issue with the product.

I have bought the largest Rage blade saw which works very well but would be even better if it was available with a slide function as well. The cut is good but not cold as claimed, but this could be to do with the wood being very damp or hard. Generally a good tool for cutting up scrap wood with nails in for use in a wood burning stove high up in the mountains of the Ardèche in France.

The mitre saw stand is a very good bit of kit. The main frame, legs and leg locking mechanicals are first class and far in excess of what bthe price would lead you to expect. The sliding extension bars are limited in legth by the compact length of the main unit but, when extended fully are strong enough to support good loads without deflection. The support rollers are good in themselves, but the metal sleeves are flimsy and the locking screws are only threaded in the "tin" making firm locking result in stripped threads. I overcame this by epoxy gluing an M8 nut on the inside of the sleeve, under the metal pressure tongue. If the factory tack welded a nut during the build process the problem would be eliminated and the product would achieve a "perfect" rating. Overall the product is astounding value for money, well done Evolution.
