“Terrible saw. I'm relagating it to chopping 2x4s, if it can handle that. I'm giving up on cutting any metal at all with it. I've broken tips on 3 blades just trying it out, and that includes 2 Diablo Steel Demon blades. Also broke the fence during testing. They were nice enough to send me another fence but I feel that this saw is just too dangerous to continue trying to cut metal with it. I can cut metal just fine on my regular miter saw and my circular saw with the Steel Demon blades. I really wanted to like this saw but I'm not going to continue destroying blades trying to get it to work. I don't know what is wrong, maybe the speed is too slow. That's why I bought it, for the slower speed to cut metal. Whatever is I'm afraid to try it on any metal again.”

“Bought the Evo 185mm circular saw, brilliant, cuts easily and precisely. Has a depth control which is one of the reasons I got it. Also came with a free blade and storage bag, what more could you want!”

“Not had the heat gun long, 10 days tomorrow, and so far only used it to shrink insulation tubing. Manual suggests Position 1, but this does not heat up above 50º, despite setting 100º. It requires Position 2 to get the gun to heat up above the 50º point. In the manual, under, Additional Safety Instructions for Heat Guns, General, Paragraph 3, requires amendment, currently it states – “Always switch the tool unattended while switched on.” Picky Yorkshire man who reads instruction manuals!”
