“I bought this back in August for various DIY projects, after a lot of research. I pleased to say the time I spent comparing and reviewing paid off. Pricewise it compares favourably with similar sliding mitre saws on the market, but the quality and the multipurpose blade makes it stand out above the rest. This is a great piece of machinery which feels robust, easy to set up and use.”

“After looking around for a sliding mitre saw and reviewing several different makes the evolution R255sms had the features I needed, and more besides, I was very impressed with the build quality of the components, and ease of assemble, and the multi purpose blade facility,a key factor was that the back up service and customer service was U.K. based, on assembling the saw I can honestly say, this is a well thought out and designed tool, at a reasonable price,,,,,,, as for the 0ne and only very minor issue was there was a missing bevel scale indicator label on the pivot on the rear of the saw,,, so with one phone call to Evolution fast response to call, and a chat with the customer service dept I was informed that they were sorry for this issue, and would send the label out in the post, very helpful, staff indeed”

“My wife asked me to make some hexagon floating shelves, I knew this would be beyond me without the use of a mitre saw. Conscious that I want to build a garden shed in the new year I knew that a powered saw would be worth its weight in gold. I did a lot of reading up before taking the plunge and purchasing the R210SMS+, lots of other saws out there however the spec of the Evolution model seemed to meet the criteria for my DIY projects, and price wise it’s spot on. I’ve since cut the hexagon shelves and have to say the accuracy of the angled cuts are spot on and considering i’ve never used one of these saws before really pleased me. The only issue I have is that hardly any dust is collected in the supplied bag - however attaching a hoover via the dust extraction port does really help. All in all this is one of the best powered tools I’ve ever bought and would recommend it without hesitation.”

“Overall a very good saw however having to purchase a dust bag seperately is a very poor show, Not just because of the extra expense but when working in a customers house you can’t use the saw the day you buy it or the house is covered in dust!!! So on top of the added £8 for the dust bag you loose a days work”

“about two years ago I purchased an evolution circular saw with the universal 185mm blade. It was an excellent tool - I cut a lot of old wood with plenty of nails in it with good results.Recently I decided to take out a very old and badly made straight stair by cutting through the lath-and-plaster along the risers to make it easier to take them out. The saw did the job but suffered badly - no further use for cutting wood. Therefore I bought another evolution circ. saw as it is ideal for general use - so long as it isn't abused as I did. It is the best circular saw I've ever had the pleasure of owning!”

“Well made tools at affordable prices either for trade or diy . And when paired up the R255SMS sliding mitre saw and stand work great together its just a shame that you dont get the accessory pack with all the models and you have to buy them separately so please try and compete with with some of bigger brands or better”

“I recently received a Fury F255SMS 10" Multi Material Sliding Mitre Saw. I'm impressed! Assembly was simple - no complicated set up procedure - everything cut square straight out of the box. I am a happy mitre saw owner - and with a 3 year guarantee - peace of mind incase anything should go wrong.... not that I can imagine it would - this thing looks like it's built to last.”
