Need more familiarity over time to fully evaluate. Initial impression good but guide fence dissappointingly flimsy and pliable. The elderly, domestic grade, Black and Decker unit it replaced had a far better guide fence but it doesn't fit the Evolution !

I would have rated the Saw and stand higher if just a little bit more thought had been put into the design of aforementioned items. I was amazed that the Mitre stand did not fit the Fury 3B when they are made by the same company. I would have thought that the holes where the clamp fits could have been realigned to fit the stand. Had I known that the stand did not fit without making up an adaptor plate, I would not have purchased it. Hope this helps with any future design and manufacturing in the future.

Have purchased the mitre saw stand and have found it to be of very good quality build. Sturdy, secure and gives confidence when using.

Does everything the literature says it will. Easy to use, but best to read both booklets before starting the assembly process.

Can't say a great deal since I've only used it once to cut 15mm mahogany but it cut with ease with no problem.

Used this for the first time the other day. Went together with no problems and mounted it on a workbench. Cut through the hardwood easily. Just have to ensure angle setup is right as the indicators weren't straight.

My new mitre saw performed well, the soft start function along with the laser guide were very pleasing features

A well made machine that performs well, but take time to set everything up properly. I bought the optional dust bag which was a complete waste of money as virtually nothing is collected in it!

Bought an Evolution Fury6 mitre chop saw (with table saw facility), after my Aldi special expired. Seems well made, blade is Japanese and very very good. Cuts wood and metal. Haven't used the table saw function yet but I assume it will be as good as the chop saw. The button that releases the saw seems a little fiddly but this could just be me getting used to it. Evolution came recommended to me by a member of the family - not dissappointed so far. Would recommend this product.

Having only bought the machine very recently I have not had chance to assess its performance properly so far, however having assembled it, a straightforward procedure, I feel confident that the sturdy construction will deliver good service.

The equipment itself seems excellent with good build-quality, useful additional functions and good performance. The documentation and support is poor quality. There's the usual attempt to save a few pence by producing a single black-and-white manual and assembly guide on cheap paper with small typeface covering multiple models. The on-line guarantee registration process is about as user-hostile as it could be. The first question is "Which product RANGE?" There is no indication on the product or the packaging of which "RANGE" it belongs to, so the user has to click on each "range" option to find the one that's relevant. Similarly, trying to download pdf versions of the manuals results in having to make arbitrary choices from lists which do not explicitly relate to the exact model I purchased. It's a pity the quality of the product isn't matched by the quality of the supporting information.

used only once since purchased and now back in the box. Good design with sound safeguards. Easy to use and did the job nicely.
