“Initial impression is this is a awesome saw. Has cut 1/4 in. angle effortlessly. A little time to check and adjust for square and was cutting in no time. Looks and feels quality built. Hope to get long use out of it.”

“THANKS FOR A GREAT TOOL . I LOVE THE WAY IT CUTS. I LOVE THAT THERE ARE NO FUMES FROM THE CUTOFF WHEEL. I HAVE GONE THROUGH 5 OF THE ABRASIVE TOOLS EVEN TWO MILWAUKEES. I THINK THE SLOWER SPEED OF THE BLADE WILL MAKE THIS TOOL LAST. THANKS FOR THE GREAT TOOL KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK. RICHARD”

“Set up was straight forward. Ease of use was fine, laser did not work and found blade is too light for cutting oak flooring. In my opinion the teeth of the saw blade do not leave enough gap,therefore causing blade to heat up and burning the wood giving off smoke. Not what I expected from this make. As a joiner with wood work shop experience for many yrs a better blade would make this perfect. Perhaps the blade is faulty, over to you Evolution.”

“Already have an Evolution mitre saw and been thinking about getting a replacement for my very basic table saw. After looking at some YouTube videos I decided on the Rage 5s. As others have pointed out it's not easy to assemble, but there are assembly videos which are easy to follow so it's not a problem. I've only had it a week and it's excellent for my DIY needs. Out of the box the blade is fractions of a mm less than 90 degrees to the table...same for the accuracy of the fence parallel to the blade, and 90 degrees to the table...so really good. As for the ease of storage, it's perfect for my garage, after use. My choice of table saw was determined by my budget, but this saw includes many features found on more expensive items. I'm well pleased.”

“I was disappointed at shipping costs when ordering tools through evolution. I had in my basket a Jigsaw and a saw stand. At check out there was a 20£ shipping cost. I live in Aberdeen Scotland (supposedly the oil capital of Europe}. I will continue to purchase Evolution tools but probably from Amazon as the shipping is free.”

“So far I have been very impressed with this mitre saw. I used it to cut 100mm sleepers! Yes I know they are meant to be too big but a cut one side and then turn over for the other side worked an absolute treat. It did not struggle once to cut through the timber! I will soon be replacing the blade to start cutting some block paving so hopefully it will work just as well!”
