“I needed a table saw at a budget price with a decent sized table which could cut aluminium plate in addition to wood and plywood and which was portable and could be used without access to a workbench. The R5-S was the only saw I could find which met all these needs. Although I’m now pleased with it, on receipt almost everything was out of adjustment or alignment so I had to spend considerable time realigning andcsetting it up but this has proved a worthwhile exercise. I strongly reccommend others to do the same and not to assume its all correct. The only remaining irritations are that the channels for the mitre gauge are 0.4 to 0.5 mm wider than the bar on the gauge resulting in considerable sideways and angular slop which affects accuracy, and the channels are much shallower than the 9.5 mm depth used on more expensive table saws, meaning other attachments which use these channels can’t be used unless special bars are first made and fitted to the attachments. A minor gripe us that the cut-outs which Evolution state are intended to house the supplied push stick are far to narrow or shallow to accommodate it so I have to keep it loose. But overall, I’m now happy with the saw which is all I could afford.”

“I own a mitre saw and a table saw with integrated mobile table made by evolution. Mitre saw is a very good tool. Easy set up and well made. Table saw has some great features esp for the money. The only negative is the mobile table. It's a little flimsy. Wheels are plastic and a bit wobbly. On a plus side it makes moving the table saw around easily”

“Great table saw, it arrived before the estimated time. I will only be using it for odd occasions so cannot give really accurate account for usage at this time but item is sturdy and with some minor adjustments seems to be reasonable accurate, apart from the runner on the mitre sled which has a bit of play. It was really well packaged and fitted together with the help of you tube and manual. The final bit of piecing together was a tad tricky but all good in the end. Overall a great purchase, reason for the 4star is the mitre runner looseness.”

“DIY'er making items from reclaimed pallets. First impressions are, really good bit of kit ideally suited to what i'm making. I haven't had my Rage 3s very long, so time will tell. I bought this as I had seen a lot of very good reviews on this item. So far great results and up to now am not disappointed.”

“Bought a rage 3 saw made 3 cuts with it in mdf the and the garud broke the. There was a lot of wobble on the blade and the cut from the blade provided was awfull. The product has. Been replaced and I'm hoping this one is better still need to set it up but I will def be replacing the blade if it does not fall apart first”
