I haven’t used my new sliding saw much yet but it seems very good value. Easy to assemble and well thought out.

Evolution Rage 4 cut off saw is a great saw, but let down by the very flimsy base and vice. The base can easily twist, and there is play in the pivot bearing, with one cut giving me a 3mm wide kerf, not really acceptable. I also own one of the brilliant Evolution Fury 2 circular saws which cost half the price, making the Rage 4 look well overpriced.

The saw is nice and light and does a decent job for a basic level saw, it just could do with the soft start feature but then the price starts creeping up.

Good motor power. Long lasting I have a chop saw for 6 years that has cut a lot of mild steel. Good value for money.

It is convenient for the DIY person, works really well, and cuts like a knife through butter

I bought a Evolution mitre saw table and a DIY mitre saw. It has allowed me to make the wooden cabinets I was fabricating in a quicker time and to a higher quality level than I normally do by hand. Just excellent products.

I've had a huge pile of off-cuts to saw into suitable lengths for our wood burner. I started off with a handsaw but decided to bite the bullet and get a mitre saw. I did the whole pile in an afternoon, even the 10x4 bits. Very impressive.

Bought a Rage -3S sliding mitre saw. It is a brilliant piece of kit and does everything it says on the box, and more. With a diamond blade it cuts through engineering brick like butter.

I’ve been using abrasive saws for years and I decided to get a evosaw 355 when my last saw died. I’ve very happy with the saw it make such a clean cut and much faster than the abrasive.

The mitre saw was perfect for doing the skirting in our conservatory. Easy to use, and did a nice clean job. Would have been handy to gave the dust bag included though.
