“Contray to what I had exepected, the mitre saw was not remotely a "use it out of the box" experience. It took about 3 hours to assemble and set up (surprising it's not already correctly adjusted for angles etc.). Moreover once set up the instructions then pointed that I need a saw bench or large board to attach it to.”

“I purchased an Evolution compound mitre saw in order to build a workbench across the back of my garage. This made the process extremely easy as the laser sight enabled me to accurately cut the wood”

“Bought a mitre saw as a Christmas present for my husband. Due to grandchildren being around over the holiday period it was only unpacked recently for a d i y job. When we unpacked the saw we noticed that the part called 'a sliding fence' looked to have a jagged edge. As we emptied the box the small missing part dropped out. The 'sliding fence' was broken. I contacted Evolution through Toolstop who sold the saw to me. Evoloution maintained that the part must have been broken in use effectively saying I was not telling the truth. The saw though had not been used. The company refused to accept liability under the warranty. Evoloution power tools have not made us very happy.”

“After using a small power mitre saw for many years, my new Evolution sliding mitre saw is making our latest refurb a pleasure to work on! I also treated myself to the Evolution mitre saw stand, so 4 metre lengths of skirting are simple to cope with. The saw has many features to provide accurate cuts, which are clean with very little chip out.”

“Great bit of kit for the money . I looked all over and found that the hulk was ideal for the job i need to do . Will not compact 150mm of type 1 in one go but ok for 100mm or less . But spot on for sand etc.”

“I purchased an Evolution R210SMS Mitre Saw and a 800B Saw Stand. The initial assembly and adjusting was made easy by the clear instructions. I was hugely impressed by the saw stand, both in quality and function. My first use of the saw and stand exceeded all my expectations. I had a large quantity of wood to be cut up. The job was completed in a fraction of the time that I had anticipated. The blade cuts with no effort and handling long lengths of timber was efficient and accurate. I will in future use the saw for different materials both metals and plastics, hopefully with equally good results. This saw and stand promises to be one of my best purchases. I am most pleased and satisfied with these products.”
