I recently bought the chopsaw and bench I do think there both great value for money but the only disappointing thing I've found is that if you want to make a 45 cut the bracket that holds the saw to the bench gets in the way .so iv had to take 2 of the bolts off so I can make a cut.

I needed a tool that takes the hassle out of cutting timber accurately and the plus with this saw is that it also cuts plastic and metals also and it is very easy to use, I should have bought years ago very pleased with it

My Evolution R210cms is great very Portable lightweight easy store for the DIY'er etc. I was disappointed there being no dust bag after seeing some unboxing reviews and they all seem to have dust bags perhaps this was a deal you people have got with Screwfix where I purchased it online for £59.99 which wasn't a really good deal after all if I have got to purchased a dust bag of you people for about £8.00 I believe.

I recycle a lot of used wood, pallets etc so nails are a problem..of the past, this to me was the selling point I was deliberating over the macalister or the evo, I have a macalister and would have bought the new one as it has many more features but the nails won in the end.

This is a well made sturdy saw table, large enough to accommodate most DIY projects. I had previously purchased a smaller saw table but, unfortunately, the smaller table wasn't very stable and needed to be fastened to a sturdy bench prior to use. It was only on a visit to a local DIY store that I came across this saw table. Having previously purchased a number of Evolution power tools, this saw table was the next step up. Surprisingly, the saw is a lot quieter than my previous saw; the cut is also finer. If I had to register a downside it would be the extended length of time it takes to fit the extension arms to the table saw. The extension arms, as fitted, are fine if the saw table is being used in a workshop. However, if you need to move the saw table outside, i.e., through a standard door, the extension arms have to be removed and then refitted once the table is outdoors. A hinged system would have been far better and less of a hassle. One other thing you need to be aware of is that the legs of the table are held in placed by bolts. These bolts are passed through the legs and are fastened by an oblong nut that slots into a groove on the backside of the leg. If you are not careful you can easily shred the thread on these nuts making it impossible to tighten the leg bold sufficiently. I know that I shredded one such nut without much effort. Question now is, where to get a replacement?

I purchased a factory reconditioned rage 3 saw at a very discounted price, it looks unused and is working extremely well. There was some assembly work to do which was easy enough with words as well as pictures unlike many self assembly things you buy. My first job was cutting up a huge stack of waste wood ready for winter (hardly what it's main purpose is!) but it handled everything well and I didn't have to worry about the bits with nails in because the blade is suitable for cutting through them. Very happy with my purchase

I recently purchased the evolution Rage 3, the saw is good but took some setting up, it was completely out of line, the back fence was not flat and still isn't completely, although it works fine, the issue I find with this saw, is when you pull it down, if you are slightly heavy handed or don't pull it straight and gentle downwards, the saw can move which causes the blade to move left 0.5mm, it turns out this is because I'm right handed, i let my friend have a go who is left handed and we found the vlade moves right 0.5mm so that has a total play of 1mm movement from left to right in the saw. The work I do does not require perfect accuracy so this does not bother me, I think the fact I was an engineer for 8 years, is why this bothers me so much. However if you require perfect cuts, just be gentle with the saw as you pull it down, I found after a few uses, this works for me. Other than that though, it's a great saw for the price and the motor has no issues cutting to it's maximum cutting capacity, everything I have cut, has gone through like a hot knife through butter. I would recommend this saw to all trades of fit, except if you are a carpenter, then you might want something just a little bit better, although I'm sure this would work perfect once you get use to how to operate it for your own personal use.

Handy vice handle , but 45degrees locking mechanism is fixed with 2 bolts making it very hard to adjust back accurately to 90. Affordable price for such tidy cuts.
