“Delivered on schedule. Looks well made and as expected although instructions could be clearer and printed bigger (which is ok if you go on line). Not used yet - so can't judge ease of use, cutting or relaibility”

“Very capable chop saw for small jobs. I would have given a very good rationing but it could do with a laser Alignment to allow more accurate cut. But for the money very good value”

“Pictogram assembly instructions took some time to understand without proper printed text but got there in the end. Assembled machine seems strong and well made and on a trial run performed extremely well. Time will tell if it stands the test of time.”

“THE R255 SMS MITRE SAW APPEARS TO BE A GOOD PRODUCT ONE PROBLEM IS THAT SOMETIMES ON START THE SAW JUDDERS AND SO YOU HAVE TO RELEASE THE TRIGGER WAIT UNTIL IT STOPS AND THEN TRY AGAIN. I ASSUME IT IS DUE TO THE SLOW START FACILITY.ALSO THE LEFT HAND THREAD BLADE RETAINING SET SCREW HAS TIGHTENED TO A DEGREE THAT WE CANNOT UNDO IT TO REPLACE THE BLADE AND SO WE ARE WAITING ADVICE FROM EVOLUTION. DAVID BAKER”

“Now that I have found out how to stop the RIP guide from binding, I think that the rage s5 is very good. It is certainly an improvement on the home made one that has served me for the best part of 50 years.”

“Only been using it for a couple of weeks but it saves a lot of time and effort, spend half an hour setting up the angles and tweaking the laser so you know exactly where and how your saw cuts in relation to the laser line. I’ve also replaced the blade with a 80 tooth TCT unit which has a far better cut.”
