“Haven't been using it for long but so far its doing a decent job. Bits of the construction are a bit flimsy (but I appreciate it's at the lower end of the budget-scale for table-saws). Disappointed that the push-stick was missing, so had to contact Machine Mart - they've promised that Evolution will send one out direct but nothing yet (that was on the 20th Feb so we'll see...)”

“First time buying evolution tools ie cicular saw 165, really pleased with the power of 1200watts motor went through the timber like butter, great to use, easy blade installation, still to use it on other materials yet, only thing i can say is the fence moves a little although fully tightened, this was mentioned in other reviews., other than that excellent saw.”

“Hallo, es scheint wirklich eine gute Tischkreissäge zu sein. Leider ist die Tolerans derFührung von der Tischkreissäge etwas groß. Daher wackelt diese etwas. Leider hat die Tischkreissäge keinen Not-Aus-Knopf und ein Sanftanlauf wäre wünschenswert.Die Anleitung für den Tischaufbau könnte etwas besser beschrieben werden aber es gibt ja You Tube, wo der Aufbau genau erklärt wird. Ansonsten macht die Maschine einen sehr soliden Eindruck. Über die Maßhaltigkeit der Einstellungen kann ich noch nichts sagen, da ich diese erst noch überprüfen muss.”

“Für mich im Hobbybereich ist die "Rage5-S" absolut brauchbar und das beste Preis- Leistungsgerät. Kleinigkeiten musten von mir Nachbearbeitet werden aber unterm Strich bleibt es eine gute Tischkreissäge.”

“Evolution were fine - no problems. The delivery service by UPS was awful. The package was sent to Sheffield, then to Tamworth, then Exeter, then Belfast, then Dublin, Then back to Tamworth, then Exeter (again!), The post code was apparently then corrected (the original Evolution address label was correct). Then sent back to Tamworth, then to Crawley. Sat for 2 days then delivered to me in Hastings.”

“After an over-long hiccup and confusion over a missing accessory pack, the saw has proved easy to set up and use. The saw itself seems well designed and made and, in conjunction with the track, produces straight, perpendicular cuts indistinguishable from factory cuts. The track is well made but fiddly to assemble/disassemble; I am losing grub screws regularly, so stock up.. Also, while the standard track kits have enough linkage bars to stand-alone, you need to buy extra to connect kits together - essential if you are cutting full size sheet materials.”

“The saw is great. Simple and easy to use. Only negative comment is that the dust extraction port could be a lot better. The sawdust appears to go all over the bench and not into port, even with a vacuum connected. I would interested to hear your comments on this”
