“I am delighted with my Evolution mitre saw and stand. It is so accurate and saves a lot of time when having to make repetitive cuts. Not tried it on metal though, being a joiner seems to go against all training where, if you cut through a nail in a piece of timber that was your saw kaput. I only use it for wood though and am happy with the performance.”

“A very well engineered item and better than my first one that just screamed after a few weeks. The only bad point is the dust bag, it does not work and although it says in the instructions, attachments for an hoover, that is not always practical or efficient.”

“Excellent piece of equipment once set up correctly. Used extensively cutting oak with no problems to date. Table plastic inset plate could be made better by manufacturing in aluminium as the plastic tends to flex when ripping short lengths.”

“I've given this a 5 because of the price. I've used it a lot over the last few months and it's performed really well. If you want absolutely perfect mitres, then you will need to spend a lot more money but for every day use and pretty good mitres, you won't be disappointed”
