“I read numerous reviews before I purchased this saw, I was impressed the moment i started unpacking it! In my humble opinion as a very keen DIY'er it is perfect for my workshop, very robust build, precision parts and good build. Having said that, some of the 'plastic' components could be a little more robust!! I purchased the collapsible stand for the saw also, a very good addition to the saw, no more crouching over on the floor or dragging my bench all over the shop, A very good buy for the money”

“Excellent saw but disappointed with the blade as after only about 100 cuts on wood flooring it was blunt and at £35 for a new blade it has turned out to be expensive”

“I believe I have been dealing with another company reading some of the reviews. Bought my miter saw in 2016, used it twice and stored until December 2018. It stopped working contacted them response in January 2019, they promised to respond did not happen, next bit was my fault I did not chase them up. Waited about a year as I had other things on my plate. Contacted them and they could find no trace of my contact , they then could find no registration details. I was forced to find the original purchase details which I was able to find then I had to acquire a receipt from the supplier. I found out the machine had a three year warranty so at the time of failure it had Six months warranty left. Got to the situation where they accepted a warranty claim, the process stalled again. I had to contact them to find out if they were going to fulfil their obligations, process started, the said their courier would pick it up but only if it was boxed, they then agreed to send me a box. The unit was collected and returned in less than a week. Their diagnosis was water damage and the machine had been stalled causing damage to the brushes and the armature. The machine had been stored in a plastic bag in my dry garage. Water damage a mystery. On return the paperwork said 90 day warranty. short changed or what? Not impressed they failed to get back to me after initial contact. At the initial point of contact it had at least 6 months warranty left. Used twice failed on third use told to check the brushes myself , not a great believer in taking machines apart when they fail leaves you open to claim you caused the problem. Evolution customer service is poor Evolutions records are poor. Would I recommend their product, what do think? Would I buy any evolution product again, once bitten twice shy? Bought a machine for its metal cutting capabilities so far have not been able to use it for this purpose. Evolution needs to evolve Not impressed Price was good delivery was over the counter at a national chain, returns difficult would not give me a refund as I had not bought it from them should have stuck to my trusty hack saw.”

“I got myself rage 5s table saw and the New compound chop saw . I got say my work has improved so with these tools . Rage 5s table saw came right out the box and was put to work right away no adjusting grate results highly recommend evolution tools 5 star”

“Very good value for money, I have the sliding mitre saw and stand, the circular saw with 1400mm track and some accessories, most of which work very well but the dust bag is limited to the amount it collects (however, this is common on most bags). Highly recommended overall.”

“I had only been looking to just get the clamps for a saw track which had come with the saw, but they never seemed to be in stock. So ended up buying the whole track with the clamps, the extra length is proving very useful. I now have a sliding bevel chop saw, Rage 3, a Rage 5 S table saw and a R185CCX circular saw. They are all excellent bits of kit for my DIY projects. But it is a shame the clamps weren't included with the R185CCX saw/track kit.”

“As a novice retiree, I've taken up a bit of 'wood butchery' leading to carpentry I hope! My sawing has always been a bit squint however this tool has improved my accuracy immensely and brought joy back into joinery to the point of having more tasks I can't wait to get my teeth into. Easy to use, versatile and robust I would recommend this evolution tool as a must. First task a log box (attached photo)”

“Poor Really, as the dust extractor attachment I ordered online didn’t fit my circular saw(the circular saw works fine) and there doesn’t seem to be any that fit.I had to make one out of old bits of pipe and gaffer tape. Wish Evolution stated this about the new circular saw.I find it poor that the saw didn’t come with a simple piece of plastic to attach to a vacuum cleaner hose. Cost of postage more than the fitting. Took a long time to get refund .”
