“Very sturdy and the rubber pad for doing block paving is good quality. The only downside is that there is a lot of vibration through the handle and it gets worse as the material gets more compacted. Apart from that I am very pleased with it.”

“Often find evolution tools to be in the good price range between expense and performance. Can't fault so many of their tools - especially for the prices charged. In this world of brushed and brushless - they still stand tall. I am now using many of their tools for professional use, as well as DIY / hobby, and will continue to do so. I am not 'brand loyal' (companies, are still companies) but I am loyal to good quality equipment and good prices, so Evolution makes up around 30% of my tool kit. I have yet to try the recently purchased mitre saw - but from my experience with the 210mm model - I expect I will be very happy with it.”

“Purchased Sept of 2025. Let me start by saying the the overall I was very happy with the saw until this occurred. Blades lasted forever, Cuts clean and fast....miter works etc. etc. With that said. For $850 i don't expect the basic frame hardware of the saw to fail that controls the straightness and accuracy of the cut. Issue - Left side fence failure. While facing machine. While cutting a piece of angle the blade caught on a edge causing the part / blade to kick hard. This in turn caused the very small (ridiculously small considering the side load when cutting metal) locating tab on the bottom of the fence to break away and while doing so bending the rest of edge of the fence away where the fence alignment tab broke away. Short version. Can't do a straight cut until fence is replaced. Submitted warranty claim today. Saw is down waiting on replacement part. Need the replacement part asap. Evolution in turn needs to redesign the fence. The fence (made of cast aluminum with very thin alignment tab) should not be the sacrificial part that gives if the blade catches an edge and kicks. There has to be a better way to deal with saw kickback. While rare...clearly it does happen. Need to address”

“The BEST budget table saw money can buy! Cuts through everything I need it to. The extension is very nice, as well as the sliding miter. I added the BOW 36 inch extension making the entire setup TOP NOTCH! I also purchased the Evolution Track saw, and am just as pleased with it.”

“I have the R255SMS miter saw but wish I'd purchased the double miter one instead, then I had the RAGE5S a very good table saw did everything I wanted plus that bit extra then out came the later version so I passed on the Rage5s and my brother is well chuffed. So along comes the R255TBL+ and what a great difference out feed extension a great idea the optional riving knife and the zero clearance was the top hat so totally top of the shop so I decided to purchase the L/H extension another great idea but I gave it a low mark due to the fact as no securing bolts for the sake of a few pence it's very poor. Generally for me Evolution tools are top of the pile in a lot of ways.”

“Evolution tools are great I’ve got the r255sms and also the R255TBL+ and I’ve just purchased the left hand extension of which is a fantastic accessory to the table saw but I’ve only given it 4 stars for the simple reason that there is no clamping screws so I had to make my own so was not pleased about that for the price or even a few extra pence I’m sure they could be included in the kit. Come on Evolution it’s the talk everyone is on about it you listened to your customers before so come guys bring the stars up to a full five again.”

“Great after sales service. I bought a table saw from Toolstation and collected it from one of thier branches. Having spent a good while assembling the stand and installing the table saw on it, I found damage to the front guide rail. There was also damage to the box coincident with damage to the unit. It looked as though it had been dropped or badly handled during transit. Not wishing to go through the rigmarole of disassembling, repacking and returning, I contacted Evolution. They rapisly sent me a replacement part with instructions on how to install. Vert grateful.”

“I had a problem with my rage DB3 cross cut saw, a call to the help line was great in solving the issue. Able to order new saw blades as weel. Great to talk to a human rather than an AI chat bot, or endless e-mails back and forths!”

“Replaced my old table saw with this bad boy, to start with, we did not get on at all. Try as hard as I might getting set up was, I found a pain. But being of an certain age, I walked away, and left it to sulk in the workshop. Watched u-tube videos of "experts". Sun was shining and in a good mood, so got to work. With patience and a calm mind, I got it proper mint. I took advice and fitted a quality blade and away we went. Myself and the table saw are now best of friends. She cuts like a dream, nice easy to use controls. I am now getting very consistent cuts every time. Well worth the weeks of begging the wife to let me have one. Terrific table saw for the money.”
