“My old sliding mitre saw was on its way out and was looking for something a little better than it without breaking the bank. I'd class myself as an half decent DIYer and the last saw did get a lot of use. Reviews were pretty good and in my smallish garage the 185+ looked a sensible option. An offer of a free blade by buying directly looked good too. The saw arrived promptly, and assembly instructions in a quick crib sheet or a video offering helped. A few quick trial cuts showed it wasn't quite true to vertical and the laser was off a scribed mark. Some reviews say the vertical was difficult to set, it's not. A 10mm spanner for the locking nut, an alan key and a square are all that's needed. Making sure the unit is turned of, and sorted in 2 minutes. The laser was about 2mm of a scribed line. The laser head is located near the blade guard release, a recessed adjustment screw bought it into line. On my last saw the laser was a pain, always getting covered in dust, I'm pretty sure this will be much better. 90 and 45 degree cuts are bob on out of the box. I do like the robust feel of the whole thing, the clever storage for the alen key, the cord storage and the little wheel on the blade guard that runs along the work surface. First cuts with the multi material blade were very clean with little effort needed, but what I'd expect with a new blade so I hope this lasts. I'll do a full video review if time permits”

“bought a replacement laser assembly. All I got was the laser. customer service found out why and had a replacement in the post the next day. Parts arrived and I was able to get the new laser fitted. Have always found Evolution customer services to be very helpfull.”

“The concrete saw with dust suppression really exceeded all my expectations. It cuts faster and cleaner than other saws I have used. No dust escapes the steady stream of water that also keeps things cool. It’s my favorite power tool so far.”

“I already have the Evolution Rage multi-purpose sliding Mitre saw, which I find very good. This review has been requested because of my latest purchase, which is an accessory, the adaptor for the dust extraction port. It's a good fit and connects very well with a standard vacuum cleaner hose.”

“Items ordered and delivered were not to the specifications detailed on the website. Easy mistake to make. Communication by email with Isabelle to rectify the issue was very good and most often made in a timely fashion with the exception of my refund request which was not replied to and forced me to make a phone call. Once I called, the refund was received in 24 hours. Would be happy to do business with Evolution again if the need arises.”

“Ordered on the 28th of December and they had a promotion giving you a free jigsaw when you bought a loaded mixer however they only sent the jigsaw and not the mixer, mistakes happen so phoned up to sort it and get the mixer and received a 2nd jigsaw and still no mixer which is very annoying cause I am now back at work and having to mix plaster by hand, was expecting it to be here today as I had an email from them saying it was there mistake and would sort it right away but still not received it.”
