“Table saw needs a better fence - one that can be clamped at both ends for stability and accuracy. Circular saw is awkward to use because you have to press a button and trigger together. compound mitre saw needs the blade to pivot at the centre of the blade for easier and accurate measuring..”

“Rage 3DB 255mm double bevel mitre saw Great saw , laser is great , unlike on the cheaper models , worth the extra cost ! 5 star Mitre stand Wish I could say good but can't, very flimsy pull out arms , the adjustable rollers keep on coming loose, could be made a lot better ! 2 stars”

“Considerably better than the rage 3 cheaper version that is now discontinued. Seems to be more sturdy , light and easy to carry. The only problem I have is when cutting 45 angle the pre stop is not very positive so do a test cut before final cut as it is easy to miss the preset notch. Overall a nice piece of equipment, and a 3 year warranty, bonus”

“As a rough cut saw this is great. The finesse in the final finish leaves a little to be desired. There are a few quality control issues that need refining the blade wobbles as you raise and lower it in the machine. Not sure what the cause is but the constant need to adjust the blade to ensure is cutting straight and true is unfortunate. The same can be said for the guide rail on paper its fantastic however, there is very little in the way of adjustment to ensure it square to the bed. Ive had to insert addtional washers to true it up. To summerise, its a great additon to the workshop. i'm just dissapointed at the lack of quality control and adjustment.”

“Overall a very good saw however having to purchase a dust bag seperately is a very poor show, Not just because of the extra expense but when working in a customers house you can’t use the saw the day you buy it or the house is covered in dust!!! So on top of the added £8 for the dust bag you loose a days work”

“Fun to set up, think instructions created to confuse, I had more progress looking at the box. Not as bad as some of the review made out, could be just more prepared for the worst. Tool is easy to use and blade leaves an extremely smooth finish on wood. Haven't tried metal yet. Blade is fairy easy to change but could do with a guard lock whilst you are doing it. Nothing major as not a regular job. Really happy with the tool..”

“Very good product for value, flexibility and power with a range of different features. I have used this unit and for me a DIY person it is excellent. Looking forward to buying and trying them masonry disc. Oh yes, I also bought the stand which all together was the best price I could find.”
