“Useless as a dust extractor. And does not pick up dust from the floor effectively. Returned for refund. Postage for return is over 10% of the purchase price and they wont refund that”

“Have used evolution a few times in the past and used this time based on previous service even though I could get the item cheaper elsewhere. The item itself is great, but the delivery was poor. Didnt arrive when promised. Due to this I wasn't at home and I then had to collect at a collection point which was inconvenient.”

“I’ve had my sliding saw for 3 faultless years, so far it’s helped build 2 large deckings, a large pond surround, 2 arbors, various fencing, gates, decking cover for walls, loft flooring, all the woodwork for a large model railway (!!), and numerous pieces of furniture, most of it on the original blade. Well made, easy to use, ‘woodn’t’ be without it.! Excellent.”

“I bought a evolution mitre saw R255SMS from B&Q its well made saw easy to assemble my only gripe is there should have been a dust bag in as standard in the box. if there had been I would have given 5 stars but as it is I now have to buy one at extra cost.”

Hi Stuart, We have to strike a balance between including the items that most customers request with a tool, vs offering the best value for money for those who don't want all the accessories. Which tool had you purchased that didn't come with a bag and which retailer was it purchased from?

“Spares department needs a good shake up or retraining. Left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing. Waiting for part for two weeks. Given a reference number and told ring later next week. Told price of part and delivery price by UPS. Offered to pay there and then but told to wait until item had arrived. On ringing as instructed told item not ordered as I hadn't paid . Rubbish..”

“Bought a R185CCSX circular back in march 2020, cmae with the 1020mm track, but no clamps. Since then the clamps have been out of stock, although you can buy the track and clamps together. Not impressed that the deal actually came with a track with no clamps in the first place and then not being able to purchase since. As you can buy a track with clamps this is a sales issue and not a supply issue, but you just get told to wait until in stock. At this rate I'll wear the saw out before i can use the track as they seem to have no intention of getting the stock in. Don't sell me half a product and then not resolve the issue.”
