Wife purchased a rage twin 155mm dual saw for my birthday. On checking it out have found out it is almost impossible to buy replacement blades, and although it is a discontinued item you would think obtaining blades would be something that could be done, but that is not the case. Even speaking to Evolution Tools, regarding the problem they were of no help at all, so how does a two year guarantee stack up. With this tool I am very disappointed with Evolution to the extent of in future going elsewhere.

I buy F210 mitre saw about 1 month ago and it brakes after 20 cuttings. Blade moves left and right 8mm and it keeps hard loud noice. I send email direct to Evolution and they don't answer my emails. It was very nice saw when it works.

the blade is not square with the base plate, had to shim it to make it true.. now it cuts straight.. see picture after shimming base plate.

I purchased a mitre saw from Evolution, which from first impressions is of excellent quality: straightforward to use, with clear instructions, and of robust construction. However, I was deeply unimpressed by the quantity of polystyrene packaging. This will not biodegrade, and there are plenty of environmentally friendly alternatives. Until Evolution changes its policy on this point I strongly recommend that you DO NOT purchase anything from this company.

Very pleased and positive about the chopsaw does exactly what it says on the tin. Used it on several occasions done exactly what I would expect (( very disappointed in the way it was delivered. Delivered by UPS. The chopsaw was fine inside the box but the box was completely wrecked.

The response was very quick, but didn't really answer the question that I asked. I shall still buy an evolution saw, but had I placed too much attention to the response, I would have decided not to.

Happy with the saw but then bought an adapter. The postage was more than the part. Not good.

You have purchased a UK machine, it may be worth contacting your supplier to see if they have the EU version available

I have had 2 Evolution heat guns both of which have had the fan fail. The first time it was within the 2 yr guarantee and Machine Mart exchanged it but would not give me a guarantee for the replacement. This one also failed within the 2 yr period but as I did not have a guarantee..... Won't buy one again.

The fence on the fury 5s table saw is worse than useless. It bends at the slightest contact with the wood. It seems that everyone knew this apart from me. I complained to customer services who in a polite way said “What do you expect from a budget saw?” Surely this means it’s not fit for purpose so shouldn’t be sold? Then as if it would make me feel better they said they would pass it on to their product design team lol. That doesn’t help me. Then really helpfully they stated that the next model up has a full fence! Well that really helps, thanks for that. It seems they have my money so who cares. All I can do is let as many forums know as possible which may cause them to lose sales when it would have been cheaper, and would have made me a big fan, just to sort me out with a decent fence or a really good offer like 50% off on the next model. Would have cost them nothing. If anyone actually reads this please take note of Amazon customer service. They are superb. All this is a shame cause the blade is great and I love the evolution mitre saw and stand that I have.☹️ Phil

To start with, the customer support was as thorough as it could be over the phone although the problem with the tool wasn't sorted. I did however receive a refund quickly and easily for parts that hadn't solved it. The tool only lasted about three years with not much use hence my 'poor' rating.

Late reply with "we will contact you as soon as we get the item in stock" after that no answer till now, and it's been a month. It seems I was forgotten.

Im sorry to say but they just dont cut it for a very keen woodworking enthusiast, they truly lack in precision. I first started with the evolution stealth mitre saw, great little saw for basic cuts but when i started bevelled cuts the problems arose! So much blade overrun the cuts where not usable. Next item, i needed a track saw so looked at the evolution circular saw track combo turned it on cut first piece of mdf and sent it back! Loud vibration and zero dust collection even when connected to my shop vac, the lack of plunge also made it a bad chice. Then came the rage 5-s table saw, bad instructions for the stand once worked it out turned on saw , now soft star so Bang moter comes on full on. Take a piece of 4x2 and wow really bad vibration and wobble tried 3 different blades no change checked blade run out and again really bad packed it up and sent it back. So i now own a bosch mitre saw (amazing in every way) a Dewalt table saw ( so precise) and a schepaach plunge saw ( zero dust issues) Conclusion: evolution has great value for money and really nice features but badly executed, soft start is a must for motor longevity, and their manufacturing process for motors need looking at as far to much movement on the Arbour’s is letting them down. Shame really great price, great features let down by bad precision

So I called to get some info on a mag drill I bought. My question was did it come with a drill chuck and adapter. As it wasn’t listed in the comes with section of the info on the website. When I call a few people there sounded like that question has never been asked. I was told no it doesn’t. So I order the mag drill and some cutter and fluid from the website. But wile on the phone ordered the drill chuck. And ordering the adapter from another source. When it arrived sure enough it came with it like I kinda expected. And a day later my two extra parts showed up that I will never use that I wasted money on because of some simple incompetence. I’m in retail business and I think this was poorly executed on evolutions end. And I’m not really going to make much of a fuss. But I will make sure that everyone i come across will here my feedback.

Cordialement

Had a worm gear wear out so thought I would contact you guys for a replacement, whilst I Had the motor stripped down thought it be a good idea to replace the brushes, the chop saw has provided me with years of good service & thought getting replacement parts would be the best way to go about repairing the chop saw. But, unfortunately the replacement parts came to £90 which if compared to a new one seems expensive, a real shame that I have to throw this machine away & purchase a new one & probably a different make to yours, it seems a strange strategy! I was told by one of your colleagues that the high price was because my machine is no longer produced, even stranger that you should be holding parts for it? So who in their right mind is going to purchase parts at the prices your quoting? So, your going to be holding on to these part for what reason? Nostalgia perhaps?

45 degree Bevel cuts run off a few mm,s even after checking and calibrating all the angles.Maybe i got a bad model. Also you can’t clamp the wood on the left side as the handle hits it at this angle.A dust bag would have been handy as dust everywhere.
