“Had a worm gear wear out so thought I would contact you guys for a replacement, whilst I Had the motor stripped down thought it be a good idea to replace the brushes, the chop saw has provided me with years of good service & thought getting replacement parts would be the best way to go about repairing the chop saw. But, unfortunately the replacement parts came to £90 which if compared to a new one seems expensive, a real shame that I have to throw this machine away & purchase a new one & probably a different make to yours, it seems a strange strategy! I was told by one of your colleagues that the high price was because my machine is no longer produced, even stranger that you should be holding parts for it? So who in their right mind is going to purchase parts at the prices your quoting? So, your going to be holding on to these part for what reason? Nostalgia perhaps?”

“45 degree Bevel cuts run off a few mm,s even after checking and calibrating all the angles.Maybe i got a bad model.Also you can’t clamp the wood on the left side as the handle hits it at this angle.A dust bag would have been handy as dust everywhere.”

“My inquiry for a source for supply of a table saw to Germany was answered by you with "we do not ship", "we do not have", "it's very heavy", "sorry". Well, I felt sorry too. Meantime I got help from a U.K supplier via Ebay, who can ship to Germany. And Amazon.eu told me that they can deliver that tool again very soon. So I placed the order there. How can it be that Evolution had no information for me at all? I have worked as an exporter for marine equipment before. It would have made me happy to be contacted by a foreign customer for supply. Sorry to hear you were not happy with our response. The information supplied was correct as we don't currently have a stockiest based in Germany, options like Amazon and E-bay are available to our customers for worldwide shipping

“I contacted Evolution several days ago using their online form, as I need a replacement pressed base plate for my circular saw (1 of 3 Evolution products I have). I have received emails since from Evolution about their Newsletter and Social Media, but my part replacement inquiry has been totally ignored. Unless I hear from Evolution within the next few days, I will bin my circular saw and replace it with another from a brand that pays more attention to after sales and parts requests. I am happy with my Evolution power tools, but not their customer service after purchase. I will be happy to amend/update this review, if Evolution can make amends, on what so far has been poor service.”

“A solid machine, but the guides aren't as sturdy as one would like it to be. This results in easily being a few milimeters of from one side to the other. One can tweak the guides a bit to make things a bit better, but still, it's not as easy as you'd want.”

“Received the tablesaw rage from Amazon. Put together and seems to be a good build. However, slide carriage not functioning. To save all the aggravation in returning the item I managed to get a partial refund for the product. I’ll just have to construct a table sled. Such ashame.”

“to be honest, it was pretty poor, used the machine for one day & the safety guard failed to work, apparently a screw had worked its way loose & to cap it off happened over the christmas period & took over two weeks to fix. I would also like to add the calibration is extremely poor, even at 90* which is so time consuming every time I have to change the angle, overall not happy.”

“I tried and failed to register my saw for three years despite everything seeming well. I then phoned and did it over the phone. I was promised a confirmation email which never arrived so I still do not know if I am covered. Really not good enough. Perhaps you can send confirmation as a result of this review.”

“Main problem is that the table top is not flat. This makes it almost impossible to cut timber accurately. The riving knife doesn't line up with the blade. The table saw insect flexes. Also the rip fence has a twist in it. Would not recommend to anyone wanting an accurate saw for small craft projects.”

“Sent photos to seller about flex on rip fence with a note that the small presser I use to guide the wood for a successful cut is not possible with an open end rip fence with the result in uneven with of the timber and possible kick back. You folks right back saying there should be no flex at all once locked in place. I talked to CS and they tell me that the only locked in rip fence is the higher priced saw that locks in place from front to the back of the table. We talked about clamping a wood block on the open side of the fence to keep it from any movement. You sent a email telling me that the fence should NEVER flex and that I might have to return the saw. Two difference answer to this problem. What should I do? He said if I only cut wood I should get a carbide blade but the blades I can see that Evolution offers has a different size arbor hole. ???? Please help. I also mentioned one of the features I liked a bout your saw is that it has a safty shut off whitch he agreed but said Evolution has do away with that witch we were both baffled by it. The fence on the Fury5-S does have some flex, dependant on material being cut as it is not lockable. You can improve this by attaching a piece of wood as advised by our technical support, and using an Evolution wood blade. These can be purchased via our webstore or by searching EVOLUTION 255mm WOOD BLADE. The Rage5-S does have a lockable fence which would stop any movement.

“You are asking me how well you have preformed regarding the repair of my Chop Saw which is stiil under Warrenty, but you haven't yet collected it for inspection. You need to co-ordinate your activity, before you send out this request to evaluate your service quality. Don't get me wrong, I still have every confidence that you will fix my equipment”

“The saw works great. It functions smoothly and well and has stood up to a number of tasks involving complex angles and different materials. I was greatly dismayed, however, to discover that the arbour size is 1" whereas most 10" saw blades have a 5/8" diameter arbour. This means that blade selection is extremely limited, with available blades only from Evolution and one other manufacturer that I've found so far. The blade that came with it cuts quickly and well, but not particularly smoothly, especially on softwood lumber. Would be an easy fix if I could swap in another blade, but... arbour makes that impossible.”

Evolution saws can only be used with Evolution blades due to the bore size and reduced RPM of the machines.

“Extremely limited range of blades for my version of saw. Spays cuttings everywhere - extract design very poor. Blade retaining washers are very soft and flats have rounded off Definitely would not recommend or buy again Helpdesk was quick to respond though - shame I needed to use them!”

“This low rating is more a reaction to what I consider to be very poor customer service. If the ethos of a company is to lever as much money out of the customers as possible then I do not want to continue my relation with them. My beef is very small.. two foot blocks fell off my Rage 3b mitre saw and they wanted me to pay for new ones. A breakage or worn out components I readily accept responsibility for but bits that drop off due to poor construction should be an issue for Evolution ..not for me..so in a fit of pique I made my own blocks out of dowels.. job done ..bit with a low regard for their company policy as a result..it’s a shame.”
