“Suits the job it was bought for, but found guaging exactly where the blade would contact the timber difficult to begin with. The markings on the baseplate don't seem particularly helpful.”

“The first Evolution Rage8 reciprocating saw I bought from Screwfix lasted all of 3 nails before the spigot that holds the blade in place broke. That said Screwfix replaced the tool immediately and without any quibbles. The second has happily munched its way through numerous pallets since along with a couple of wayward trees in the garden. It makes very light work of tasks that took ages previously and the great thing is that when I disassemble a pallet now I don't have any broken pieces to worry about. A really useful and robust tool in my opinion.”

“You pay over £100-00 for your saw . THEN you find it's, got NO dust bag, then you phone up only to find it;s an extra £4-98 to pay. ----- WELL DONE all extra money for you.”

“Registering the tool was more complicated than setting it up! It seems to work well, and for the price is a good bit of kit. As with all registration surveys, it's too soon after the registration to be of much use - you would have done better to wait a couple of weeks to find out how good the tool is rather than the day after it was registered. The registration needs to be easier - I had to go back to the tool twice. Once for the serial number, which I should have expected, and once to find out what particular group you have decided to put the chop saw into ...”

“Sliding mitre saw is solidly constructed. Linear bearings in the slideways are very "rumbley" but no play in them.”

“Bought the saw from screwfix I am a confident at DIY the saw is very good value for the money easy to assemble except the allen key supplied was wrong size would recommend this product”

“I have purchased two Evolution power tools, A reciperating saw and an original 210mm mitre saw. Even though the mitre saw back rest was 2 degrees when set to 90 degrees I got a very quick and helpful response from Evolutions support team and now I can't fault them.”

“Although I will only use the Fury 3-B occasionally for small DIY jobs, its useful that the blade cuts several materials and cuts will be more accurate now. It remains to be seen how long the blade lasts before renewing it as the cost of renewing it seemed quite high. I look forward to using it in the coming months.”

“This is a good saw but not a great saw. The fact that it arrived almost fully built and was ready to use was nice but the fact that the on off switch is in the most ridiculous place imaginable makes using it a bit awkward. There is a storage space for the push stuck and a storage space that seems to fit nothing but I will be damned if I can work out where you store the tools and the mitre guide. The saw cuts really nicely and the measurment scale is very accurate however the safety gaurd is a really pain, it doesn't track over your workpiece freely and makes feeding in smoothly tricky. To be honest I would suggest that if it worked better less people would be inclined to risk fingers by taking it off. Over all I am really pleased but a few tweaks could make this a superb tool.”
