I have yet to use my Evolution 185mm Multipurpose Circular Saw, but it does look the part and seems to work well. The tool is robust and well made, especially for the price, but I suppose time will tell.

Very happy with the machine. It is a real time saver. However, there are 2 problems I would like your help to solve. 1) is there any cutting angle adjustment ? 2) the dust bag isn't very effective. Is it a simple push on connection and that's it ? Thank you

I bought this saw from Screwfix after looking on the internet. Had I seen it on display, I would probably have chosen an 8” saw rather than the 10” one I bought, however the extra capacity will be useful. It is a very well made tool and needed no adjustments to the factory setup. As the saw is sold as one that can be moved around the building site it would have been nice to have a handle as it is a bit awkward to carry as there is nowhere to grip near the centre of gravity. I purchased an accessory kit from Evolution's website but I thought the supports and dust bag should have been included with the saw. I was going to buy a wood cutting blade but the blade supplied gave a very good cut so I decided I would wait. I did buy a brick blade but haven't used it yet. These all arrived next day, post free.

Takes the elbow work out of using a hand mitre saw. Price is very reasonable and product seems well made and good quality.

Dissapointed that there were no side support bars, but a good saw overall

Some of the parts let the tools down ,and are weak for the jobs they should be able to do.

Seems good quality mini belt sander. Quite noisy but expect that is normal for these sanders

Decent saw for the DIY-er. A bit of play in the pivot arm which makes accurate cutting a bit hit and miss. Overall good for what I need it for.

makes a very good clean cut. the diagrams in the booklet are not very clear. it is a pity that it does not do an angle cut both ways

The sliding compound mitre saw was well packaged - and the packaging had obviously protected it from the worst th courier companyh could do. The instructions for assembly and set-up of the saw were logical and straightforward, even if some of the diagrams and illustrations could be clearer. the saw table bought at the same time provides a sold base, and supports long lengths of timber. So far, I have been extremely pleased with the clean cut and accurate angles this saw achieves. Overall, it is intelligently and thoughtfully designed, and well-engineered to provide (I hope!) long service. After some weeks' satisfactgory use, i attempted to rotate the mitre table to cut at 45deg and was surprised to find the locking lever on the table fouled the mounting brackets of the bench i bought with the mitre saw.

Only used it twice so far, seems to have loss of power. Reasonably quite could do with a laser light. So far so good.

The mini-sander is good. Not knowing how to get replacement bands was a nuisance and the fact that they cannot be bought at Screwfix where I got the machine seems strange to me and them.
