“Would definitely recommend the Evolution 12” Disc Cutter, it does a great job of cutting even hard concrete. I would note two things though, even with a vacuum attached, cutting concrete is not dustless. The vacuum will collect a lot but not all of the concrete dust. So will need some other way of protecting against dust if cutting in a finished house etc (for example cutting a concrete floor in a finished house). The Second item is that you need to run this saw off a 20amp circuit - and even then you need to go a bit slowly. A 15amp circuit just isn’t enough to power this saw.”

“Good value and easy set up .Can't comment on accuracy as It was not bought for carpentry just basic work. Coupled to the Evolution saw work stand it has proved a very robust and useful addition to my work tools. Some kind of jig/workstation may be worthwhile on the latter as it has a convenient platform height and rigidity for doing alterations manually to other work”

“Never owned a circular saw or used one before .I was cutting up a lot of decking I had ripped up, been great for cutting it in to various lengths and re-roofing my shed and other jobs but I needed a large Try square a metal one, already had it, that is the only way I Figured out to cut square. It is a learning curve.Never manage to do all the cutting done with out it..----------------------Very good tool don't know if the other brands are as good------------------------------------------------------”

“While rather small, your metal chop saw works great. Time will tell if it continues to do so. My only suggestion would be to make the guide swing a full 60 degrees and to make it more accurate. Mine is about 4 degrees off so to insure accuracy in angle cuts I have to set my angle finder with a quality protractor, then transfer that to the guide. Other than that, it's a nice saw.”

“Très bon outil, facile à utiliser et avec des coupes propre. Petit bémol, le laser est légèrement décalé. Il suffit, soit de le recaler, soit de faire avec une fois qu'on le sait. Son poids est un peut lourd mais bon, pas de quoi en faire un drame.”

“A very well engineered item and better than my first one that just screamed after a few weeks. The only bad point is the dust bag, it does not work and although it says in the instructions, attachments for an hoover, that is not always practical or efficient.”

“Great value tools at an affordable price point. I have a 355mm chop saw, a mag drill and now the 230mm steel cutting circular saw. Customer service response has been required only once and Alan was very helpful and got things sorted promptly.”
