“I have purchased a mitre saw and stand. Its early days yet to say how they will last but they are both solid and well made. I would describe them as very good diy tools rather than top notch professional but at the price I doubt one could do better. The saw required a few minutes to set it up before it cut perfectly square in all directions but this was easy to do. Once set up it cuts consistently cleanly and accurately. The stand works well too. It holds the saw firmly and is steady. The only minor gripe I have with the stand concerns the extension arms which are a loose fit in their slides. They are ok once the clamps are done up tightly, though.”
