Found it a little tricky to operate initially but once I got used to it was able to switch between operations. although I did damage the blade cover while experimenting with the change over.

As a disabled person the requirement for a power saw is paramount. It has to be easy to use, fit for purpose and adaptable. Apart from this it also has to be reliable and good value for money. I have to say that this mitre saw ticks all the boxes.

Have not used this a lot having only just made the purchase. When my husband first received the evolution power tool he noticed one of the nuts had no thread. Following a quick telephone call to your company a new nut was posted out first class the same day. Extremely good service, very pleased.

Great mitre saw and bought a good price from screwfix although their packing for international delivery meant that the box was damaged quite a bit. However saw works great and cut through wood fence posts like a hot knife through butter and even made easy work of cutting galvanised steel post spikes. If sawing timbers that require a fine finish would definately recomend the fine wood blade as I did get a few end splinters but nit a problem on posts but could be on laminate wood for exampme. I would have likeda dust bag as standard as gives off a huge amount of dust and laser useless outside if honest. Orherwise a fantastic saw for the money.

Arrived in good condition. Great value table saw with very useful features. Took a while to erect the stand but instructions were clear and I got there. Well constructed and solid although the blade is thin kerf and a bit flexible. Only used it once for a couple of cuts and seems to perform well. I don't intend to cut anything other than wood whit so far appears to be accurate enough for my work. Solid rip fence and great feature having the riving knife lower than the blade as most people remove the blade cover but keep the riving knife attached. Extension tables are a good feature. Easy to fold down and transport but does not compromise the stability of the table saw. I own a few Evolution tools and so far no problems. Good value for money.

Very messy machine in use. I use for DIY but in a small workshop and using the machine for the first time the sawdust mess was unbelievable, even with a dust bag attached. The sawdust was everywhere and took me a while to clean up. You could expect some sawdust but this was quite excessive. Its a pity as a DIY woodworker the machine would probably be adequate so very disappointed. Bit off-putting. If you do come up with a fix please inform me.

Good piece of kit, amazed at how precise it was after putting it all together. Some of the pictures was not quite so clear when putting it together and having to keep finding the written instructions to corroborate each picture I found to be time consuming. The saw is already saving time and money a great addition to my selection of tools.

Purchased this machine about a month ago, and generally it does a good job. I think there are some issues which if you read the reviews they all tell the same story. The bottom two locking wheel screws work loose after two minutes use. Remedy, easy, fit a couple of heavy duty spring washers. The other issue is the handle just above the main body needs to be raised to make easier lifting as not really big enough to get your hand in, quite simple to do. When I read the reviews on this hulk these issues came up time and time again. But it does a good job

This is a lovely piece of kit and does exactly what it says on the box. Do not be afraid to order this machine, for the price it is a no-brainer. Just two things for the manufacurer to consider:- 1. Finer pointers on the degrees scales preferably made out of steel. 2. A slightly better quality laser which projects a less vague line. Other than that, very happy with my purchase for less than £100.

Plus points. Impressive build quality for the price. Good features and ease of operation. A blade that cuts most materials. Cable tidy facility. Not too heavy to carry. Minus points. No dust bag supplied on the model I’ve purchased, just charge another fiver and include the bag! Without the bag dust blows directly upwards due to the angle of the outlet. The blade cuts are a little bit rough, but I except this due to it’s multi material functionality. Two metre cable. Three metres would have been better. Soft start, too slow to pick up speed (having to wait too long before being able to start cutting). Summary. With a three year guarantee and for the price, purchase immediately. The negatives I’ve mentioned are minor but worth pointing out. Also purchased the stand which is excellent. Manufacture please address some of the issues to make a great product excellent.

I have just started using my R255SMS+. It was straight forward to assemble and to check the settings, and easy to use. It's probably a bit more powerful than I was expecting which is a good thing.

Cannot read or understand your instructions, appear to be written by engineers for engineers not non-expert end users. Unable to understand, identify or fit any of the lumps of metal in the polythene bags but have worked out how to free blade and actually use the machine. Have ended up with cut wood which is what I bought it for. Good. Have fitted the dust bag which remains empty and floor surrounding machine and all surfaces of machine are covered in sawdust. Not impressed. Perhaps I should have purchased a simpler less advanced and less expensive saw I am never going to be able to understand all the functions that might be able available if I could only understand them. Pity
