Excellent piece of kit really well made, with the added bonus of a laser, great for the DIYER as well as the pro.

The saw is well made and a good saw, but the saw bore size is a one off making it hard to get different types of saw blade other than the evolution ones.

Rage 5s perfect apart from mitre attachment to sliding carriage. On screwing up the mitre attachment to use the sliding carriage, the screw came right through and in sliding the carriage forward, took a groove out of the base plate underneath. Most annoying, especially as the instruction manual says to do this. Tell me what I’ve done wrong. Or was the supplied screw too long ?

I bought the circular saw to trip the bottom off a couple of doors. Nice straight line, and easily went through the door material. Great saw at a good price.

This is the second time I've purchased from the 'evooutlet' eBay store - on this occasion it was a reciprocating saw. This is solidly built to withstand knocks and the inevitable drops. The variable speed functionality, along with the adjustable soleplate, is brilliant giving you full control of your cut. I've only used it a few times, but what I can say is it makes small work of bushes and conifers. A must-have piece of kit.

Very happy with the saw the only slight problem was the blade angle needed setting up but that’s not hard at all, and once done a very good cut.

DIY block paving. Good easy to use compacter, but the paving pad started to move across to the left a day of light use. The bolts were all still tight..... My cure, four small G clamps

I am a home DIYer and so have a limited budget. After quite a bit of research I decided that rather than getting a basic entry level table saw I would spend a bit more and get an evolution as I already have some of their tools and have been impressed with them. I selected the Rage 5S based on price and the quality of the rip fence, it locks at both ends so no flex, the expandable table size, it does go very wide, and the sliding mitre panel, it’s hard to explain this but if you see one in use you will understand that last part. Setup: As with everyone else building up the mobile stand is a bit of a faff and the instructions aren’t that great. I ended up going to YouTube for help; this link is a very helpful and clear explanation of how to set it up. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2Ll3GJt1iKQ. Once set up it needed very little fettling and cuts accurately enough for me. So far I’ve done some re-sawing and ripping. The rip fence and measuring scales are very impressive and accurate. For mitring I used the sliding panel as opposed to the slot as there is no discernible wobble doing it this way. I’ve also cut down some fairly large panels of MDF – well kitchen cupboard doors actually again no problems and excellent results. I also spent ages finding the right size spanner, long enough, to lower the riving knife to cut some groves only to find 2 already screwed onto the side of the saw and the same with the push stick but on the other side. So overall after a couple of weeks I have to say I’m happy with my purchase, it’s easy to use oh and the kill switch works well a little tap and it shuts off. Problems: I’ve had to make a little trolley to get it through doorways, effectively sideways, as it is way too wide using the wheels on the stand but that’s the price you pay for the large table area.
