“This mitre saw was very easy to assemble and set up. The saw is well designed with a solid construction. The soft start motor is excellent. It would have been helpful if the sawdust bag was included in the basic version otherwise no complaints.”

“While I can't say it's quiet, it is extremely fast. I have cut round, angle and flat steel with it and it doesn't hesitate. The clamping could use some work as you have to spin the handle to open or close. The type where you lift part of the screw mechanism to slide the clamp forward and back may be better, but, over all this is the best chop saw I have owned!”

“I bought a discontinued twin blade saw as a birthday gift for my husband. The saw was missing the spare blade and when he contacted Evolution Power Tools to ask if he could buy a set of spare blades he was just told as it was discontinued it was not their problem. They were very unhelpful to the point of being rude. The saw is now basically disposable as without new blades it will soon become useless. I will not use Evolution Power Tools again and would recommend that anyone steer clear of them as there is no after sales service. It seems that once they have your money they want nothing further to do with you.”

“Even with a vacuum machine attached there is dust everywhere. Apart from this it is acceptable. Will try other ways of reducing dust.”

“Evolution Mitre Saw Stand, what a god send, had a lot of cutting to do from 4.8mtr lengths, without the stand I would be struggling. The Saw Stand is excellent, heavy but folds away nice and neat. I would definitely recommend this stand.”

“The evo380 chop saw is a great tool. But the threaded rod on the on the clamping devise is terrible. You guys need to come up with a better tread pitch and shape as well as a locking device for it. It really is to bad because the rest of the saw so far is great!”

“This is by far the best cold cutting table top saw I've ever used. The saw is very well constructed and easy to operate and adjust. Cleaning is also a breeze. It's amazing how fast and precise the cuts are through thick carbon steel shapes. I can't wait to buy the circular saw for plate applications.”
