The bench is well designed and is easy to assemble and use. The pictures could be slightly bigger in the manual, but thast is a minor point

Easy to put together out of the box nice clean cut when I use the slide a little uneven when I used it as a chop saw laser is next to useless in good daylight and is positioned slightly to the left of the blade If you feed wood from the left it will cut short not sure if there is adjustment will look Good solid piece of kit everything moves well good handle position easy guard release Have only used it on wood so far but cuts it like butter overall very pleased with the saw

I bought the Evolution Fury6 flat bed/chop saw. For its size it did a good DIY job. Don't bother with the saw dust collection bag, it is not in the box but an extra for almost £8. Does not work and collects nothing. I will not add a photo of a bench covered in saw dust. A bit fiddly to change from one to the other but generallY I am really pleased with it.

Looks like a very good saw at a competitive price, the only snag was that I had to buy a dust bag separately. The saw stand looks very well made.

Very happy with the all purpose circle saw. The guide plate were the 45 degrees & straight vee notch did not had a good finish look.

Only used product once as recently purchased it.Seems sturdy. Only complaint really was the illustrations in leaflet for constructing the saw were poor and unclear.

Cuts well and accurately even on hard wood. The setup was fairly straightforward forward but the instructions were hard to follow

This was my first mitre saw, it was excellent, came completely calibrated out of the box so could start straight away. I used it create a wainscoting effect in my hallway. few things I noticed, and this may not entirely just with this particular model or make, it may be the same for all Mitre saws (that are not mounted on the saw stand/table) The clamp only really works on the right side, (you can move to the left side too) as the saw motor is to the left of the blade and the clamp blocks its path down for the cut The other slight critique is .. holy f balls is it loud ... I have watched dozens of videos/blogs youtube clips of guys usually hardcore DIY or tradesmen use their saws and unless there is some editing going on, their more powerful mitre saws are not half as loud. You need ear protectors or a set of wrap around earphones/noise cancellers if you want to avoid some potential hearing loss! Still a great saw though, I am very satisfied!

I chose the Evolution Rage 5S over other makes for two reasons: 1 The fold away mobilty aspect 2 The multiple material cutting options. So I was happy in that respect. However I had to make a couple of minor adjustments to the bed to make it square and as even as possible and to the zero degree stop position of the blade. Nowhere in the instructions does it tell you how to do this. Also I was a bit disappointed with the rough edges around the 'Evolution' brand stamp on the bed (see photos). It could potentially scratch fine materials run over it. I think it is and odd place to put it too.

Right out of the box it was very easy to set up and celebrate. However, the laser adjustment is a little poor and it needs refining.. Surly there must be a simpler more straight forward way of aligning the laser line to the blade cut at present. your three screws option is poor. Having said that. it's a nice piece of kit for the money..

Found it a little tricky to operate initially but once I got used to it was able to switch between operations. although I did damage the blade cover while experimenting with the change over.

Great mitre saw and bought a good price from screwfix although their packing for international delivery meant that the box was damaged quite a bit. However saw works great and cut through wood fence posts like a hot knife through butter and even made easy work of cutting galvanised steel post spikes. If sawing timbers that require a fine finish would definately recomend the fine wood blade as I did get a few end splinters but nit a problem on posts but could be on laminate wood for exampme. I would have likeda dust bag as standard as gives off a huge amount of dust and laser useless outside if honest. Orherwise a fantastic saw for the money.

Good piece of kit, amazed at how precise it was after putting it all together. Some of the pictures was not quite so clear when putting it together and having to keep finding the written instructions to corroborate each picture I found to be time consuming. The saw is already saving time and money a great addition to my selection of tools.

Purchased this machine about a month ago, and generally it does a good job. I think there are some issues which if you read the reviews they all tell the same story. The bottom two locking wheel screws work loose after two minutes use. Remedy, easy, fit a couple of heavy duty spring washers. The other issue is the handle just above the main body needs to be raised to make easier lifting as not really big enough to get your hand in, quite simple to do. When I read the reviews on this hulk these issues came up time and time again. But it does a good job

This is a lovely piece of kit and does exactly what it says on the box. Do not be afraid to order this machine, for the price it is a no-brainer. Just two things for the manufacurer to consider:- 1. Finer pointers on the degrees scales preferably made out of steel. 2. A slightly better quality laser which projects a less vague line. Other than that, very happy with my purchase for less than £100.
