The mitre saw does what it says on the description. It was a pity I had to buy the dust bag as an extra.

Good looking product, assembly quite logical although the instructions could be a little more user friendly. Very disappointed that it doesn't come with a DUST BAG. What makes this worse is that the Evolution website is identified as being Insecure, making a purchase unadvised.

Easy to assemble and cuts lovely. I bought the Rage3 with an accessory pack and stand. Don't bother with the accessory pack if you buy the stand would be my advice, as it is a waste of money. Make sure you check the vertical and horizontal planes for squareness on a bit of scrap wood first, as both needed tweeking square on mine.

tool does what i expected, it works fine. However on the first cut one of the four motor mounting screws fell out! Fortunately it droped onto the work piece and I was able tp fing the offending hole and refit it. not a good start.

The rage 2 is a versatile saw of good build quality. I have used the saw to cut pipework 2", 3" and 4" without any issues. I have also used it as a wood chop saw for 4" x 4" timber. The multi material blade is a blessing, little or no burrs and no changing blades for different materials, saves me time and cost. A negative is that there is no location to store the pipe block and allen key when not in use. This leaves them open to be lost on site. There is some room available in the raised base that could be utilised for a clip/pocket/drawer/compartment.

I bought the PRO-MSAW-RAGE3-DB saw, new, through eBay and have had problems cutting mitres and squares until I discovered the bed is not square and the laser is out of line. Every time I use it, I have to level the saw horizontally and vertically as the calibration seems wrong. The ironic thing is.. I gave my 16 year old DeWalt saw to my son. Two weeks hence and not a squeak from customer support. I'm ashamed to say that other countries make better and reliable tools!!!

All of the evolution tools I have bought over the years have been great to work with the blades seem to go on cutting forever the latest addition to my set of tools is the r210sms mitre saw it has worked great for me when cutting skirting boards and door architraves.i am planning on using it on decking for the garden next let's see how it goes.

I purchased a Rage3 mitre saw and a Rage5S table saw. Both excellent quality. Love the table saw, but both could really do with a 'soft start' feature.

Although it required a few extra washers and being careful not to strip the thread on the captured nut for the legs it went together very easily. Take care to get the side extensions level and secure. The saw has only been used a little but rip cut a very hard wood sample with no difficulty and left a very clean cut ready to sand. Very impressed.
