“I brought the gazebo and bag and 3 sides I was able to collect the items from the factory after a few phone calls as I didn't have the option on the online as my post code was just out the area I've not used the sides yet and I am still waiting on one to be sent out as on collection they only had 2 The bag and gazebo were a good purchase and fairly easy to use as we were working in a small space in bad weather”

“As a DIY’er this is great tool. As with previous reviews you have to do a bit of a dance with the electric cable but that’s no different from using an electric lawnmower or similar . For me electric was key so I don’t have to keep refilling the fuel and it’s much lower maintenance . It’s lighter so more transportable. For the work I’m doing it’s perfect - 5 stars 👍😀”

“Just got the saw so I cant say much about reliability. I have made several test cuts and all I can say is wow! This machine eats through steel nearly as fast as a power miter saw cuts through wood. Evolution is the perfect name as now my metal fabrication abilities have moved light years into the future! How did I live without this saw?”

“I really like my S355MCS miter saw so far. It cuts excellently and leaves way less mess than my old abrasive saw. Still learning how the clamping system works. I have trouble getting shorter (like less than 12") pieces of metal secure to cut in certain shapes/sizes. I broke a blade when cutting a short section of 3/4"x1/8" angle when it popped out of the clamp so now I am very cautious about how the parts are secured down. It seems like you absolutely need 2 of the clamps on no matter what and certain shapes need all 3, which is nearly impossible on short pieces. So far its a great tool and I'd recommend it to anyone who cuts a lot of metal.”

“Tank and pump are great. The hose that came with it is absolutely terrible. Constantly kinked. Definitely will be changing the hose.”

“Bought quite a bit of kit from evolution now..track saw & extended the track kit so I have more versatility..I have the flip table / chop saw ..and other items and kit / carry bags. The accuracy of the saws and track are spot on and the quality is faultless. Same to for the kit / carry bags..very robust and top quality. I'm that impressed I keep coming back to see what's new. To compare with other well established ( trade level tools ) I'd say these in a lot of instances are better put together , feel more robust and you get the same if not more bang for your £ . Which if you compare like for like with those other brands , evolution gear is so much cheaper.my gear gets hammered and stands up to it extremely well...( John...kitchen & bathroom fitter )”

“Battery powered mixer I was a little skeptical about getting a battery powered mixer but to my surprise it is fantastic mix tile adhesive with no problem definitely a great piece of kit”

“I started a custom handrail business with a small bandsaw, I did ALOT of jobs with it but was always waiting for it to cut. I finally landed a big job and had over 1k pickets to be cut out of 1x1 tubing. The evolution saw is totally a game changer, it literally cuts the fabrication time in half. It's also very accurate. Probably the best purchase I've put towards my business.”

“I have recently purchased both a rage5s table Saw and circular saw from evolution. They are excellent value for money and perform well. Some small niggles with the table saw, the mitre guage has a lot of play and the slots in the table , for reasons best known to evolution are not a standard size, so getting an upgrade on the mitre guage is not a simple process. They now have a zero clearance throat guard….why is this not supplied a standard, they clearly recognise the one supplied with the saw is terrible? None of these issues are insurmountable however, it cuts straight and true and the supplied blade is good. So I am happy. I don’t think I could buy better for the same money. The circular saw seems good, although I’ve not had much use out of it yet to truly comment.”

“The plastic extensions to the cutting bed are not stiff enough and deflect when the clamps are used. No information on setting up the blade angles for square cutting. Otherwise the saw does ever thing I want cut and is speedy in operation.”

“I run a ductwork installation company and we have been using the evolution 165mm multi-material blade for a few years now. It has never let us down. For a fraction of the price we’d usually pay for a Hilti blade. 3 blades of under £50 now that’s a deal. Too brand”

“I bought the 'zero' clearance plate for my Rage-5s. It's made of metal with two plastic inserts (one spare, presumably) in which slits have to be cut by the user. The unit came without instructions as to how to do this, which I had to Google. There's a video on Evolution's website showing how to do this, though it doesn't mention that the riving knife has to be lowered to below the blade beforehand, otherwise it won't cut. I'd have liked some kind of instructions to have come with the plate, or at the very least a link to the instruction video I had to Google for. Also, this won't work for cutting mitres (obviously), so you have to swap it over with the original (flimsy) plate, which frankly is very poor quality & should have been made from metal from the outset. I've yet to cut anything with the new plate, but see no reason why it shouldn't be an improvement.”
