“Works good cutting wood....didn't work so good on cutting plastic the blade broke it instead of cutting it....I thought the one I got would be bigger...but it cut nice and straight like it should I like it so far”

“Purchased the Evolution cold cut saw blade for stainless steel. 20 cuts in 1" x 1.2mm stainless box and the blade is toast and it was struggling with the last few cuts. Now won't even touch the material. Evolution won't honour any warranty saying it wasn't used in their machine. Yet their online store site indicates compatibility with several brands of saw including the Ridgid I use. At $255 AUD purchased from Total Tools that was a very expensive job.”

“Rage 5-s. Good product but a couple of issues. The riving knife fixing nut arrived with its thread damaged so could not be tightened. And if you set the rip fence bracket at the suggested position relative to the blade as per instructions, you cannot lock the fence in place because the lever is obstructed. Also there was loads of polystyrene packaging which took a couple of bins collections to get rid of. Not very environmentally friendly!”

“Terrible customer service, free postage advertised but not to Perth. Too remote apparently. Discount offered to complete purchase but none of the items in my basket qualified! Emailed them with my concerns but no one bothered to reply. I’ll take my custom elsewhere…”

“I purchased a Guard Release Lever, and it arrived within the week including a weekend, very please the item has been slightly modified for the better, a little bit fiddly to fit because of a small spring but all done within 10 minutes, The item is of good quality and has no problems from ordering to arrival over the moon, now waiting for the multi-tool to come back into stock I may well purchase that next.”

“Not really used this in anger yet, but my new compactor is great so far. I like the long lead, the weight is not too heavy to carry easily. The carry bar is a bit too close to the unit to comfortably get my hand around it though. On a test run it compacted well, was not too noisy and pretty easy to steer. Will be using it a lot in the next few weeks, so looking forward to that. Reckon at the price it was worth buying, rather than hiring. This way I am not under pressure to complete the work quickly, have a great unit to work with and can probably sell it on at a good price once I have finished using it. Great purchase.”

“The quality of the saw stand is outstanding, I have fitted my old angle saw easily. I am no saving up to purchase a new double bevel saw from evolution. Me recommendation is if you have tried the rest it’s now time to try the best Evolution.”

“I have one of your chop saws and Very pleased with it. Have just got one of your saws with guide rail. On first time using it I cut down the dust gard and the blade cut some off, is this normal. If on reading this you could give me your view on this. Thanks Brian”

“Table saw rage 5S Good: cuts are clean with the standard blade so far. Assembly wasn't too laborious even with sub par instructions. Unit is quite light and maneuverable on its stand. Bad: Mitre guage is a p.o.s. that is no use at all. The depth of the mitre slot depth is only 7.5mm, 2mm less than standard( or more upmarket) tablesaws so you can't use industry standard mitre guages. Cheap, but it shows.”

“I brought the gazebo and bag and 3 sides I was able to collect the items from the factory after a few phone calls as I didn't have the option on the online as my post code was just out the area I've not used the sides yet and I am still waiting on one to be sent out as on collection they only had 2 The bag and gazebo were a good purchase and fairly easy to use as we were working in a small space in bad weather”

“As a DIY’er this is great tool. As with previous reviews you have to do a bit of a dance with the electric cable but that’s no different from using an electric lawnmower or similar . For me electric was key so I don’t have to keep refilling the fuel and it’s much lower maintenance . It’s lighter so more transportable. For the work I’m doing it’s perfect - 5 stars 👍😀”

“Just got the saw so I cant say much about reliability. I have made several test cuts and all I can say is wow! This machine eats through steel nearly as fast as a power miter saw cuts through wood. Evolution is the perfect name as now my metal fabrication abilities have moved light years into the future! How did I live without this saw?”

“I really like my S355MCS miter saw so far. It cuts excellently and leaves way less mess than my old abrasive saw. Still learning how the clamping system works. I have trouble getting shorter (like less than 12") pieces of metal secure to cut in certain shapes/sizes. I broke a blade when cutting a short section of 3/4"x1/8" angle when it popped out of the clamp so now I am very cautious about how the parts are secured down. It seems like you absolutely need 2 of the clamps on no matter what and certain shapes need all 3, which is nearly impossible on short pieces. So far its a great tool and I'd recommend it to anyone who cuts a lot of metal.”
