“I started a custom handrail business with a small bandsaw, I did ALOT of jobs with it but was always waiting for it to cut. I finally landed a big job and had over 1k pickets to be cut out of 1x1 tubing. The evolution saw is totally a game changer, it literally cuts the fabrication time in half. It's also very accurate. Probably the best purchase I've put towards my business.”

“I have recently purchased both a rage5s table Saw and circular saw from evolution. They are excellent value for money and perform well. Some small niggles with the table saw, the mitre guage has a lot of play and the slots in the table , for reasons best known to evolution are not a standard size, so getting an upgrade on the mitre guage is not a simple process. They now have a zero clearance throat guard….why is this not supplied a standard, they clearly recognise the one supplied with the saw is terrible? None of these issues are insurmountable however, it cuts straight and true and the supplied blade is good. So I am happy. I don’t think I could buy better for the same money. The circular saw seems good, although I’ve not had much use out of it yet to truly comment.”

“The plastic extensions to the cutting bed are not stiff enough and deflect when the clamps are used. No information on setting up the blade angles for square cutting. Otherwise the saw does ever thing I want cut and is speedy in operation.”

“I run a ductwork installation company and we have been using the evolution 165mm multi-material blade for a few years now. It has never let us down. For a fraction of the price we’d usually pay for a Hilti blade. 3 blades of under £50 now that’s a deal. Too brand”

“Easy to find spare parts and ordered straight away. The problems started when they sent the part by Yodel. They don't like delivering to remote areas and arrived late. Overall a good experience.”

“I bought the 'zero' clearance plate for my Rage-5s. It's made of metal with two plastic inserts (one spare, presumably) in which slits have to be cut by the user. The unit came without instructions as to how to do this, which I had to Google. There's a video on Evolution's website showing how to do this, though it doesn't mention that the riving knife has to be lowered to below the blade beforehand, otherwise it won't cut. I'd have liked some kind of instructions to have come with the plate, or at the very least a link to the instruction video I had to Google for. Also, this won't work for cutting mitres (obviously), so you have to swap it over with the original (flimsy) plate, which frankly is very poor quality & should have been made from metal from the outset. I've yet to cut anything with the new plate, but see no reason why it shouldn't be an improvement.”

“Package arrived a little damaged. Some of the paint had flaked off and there is a rivet that is sitting more proud than the others, which I will have to grind down otherwise the wood will be raised at an angle when passing it through the table saw which will effect the cut. Not something that should have to be fixed by a member of the public. Other than that, pretty decent.”

“I bought this saw after seeing videos on YouTube. I must say, it lives up to the hype. This thing makes easy work of cutting metal. I never would’ve imagined a chop saw could work this well. Now hopefully it last a long time. I look forward to many years of use with it.”
