“Fantastic value and when it switches on automatically when you start your sander it makes you feel like a proper woodworker. The electric cable is stupidly inflexible and the suction tube could be longer and higher quality. But at this price it is obvious they’ve cut a couple of corners.”

“Would have given 5 stars if the sliding crosscut table was not so sloppy and had less sideways movement. I see no way of adjusting this, then add the poor fitting of the bevel gauge in the mitre slot on the sloppy table and you have lots of unnecessary inaccuracies. Apart from the above gripe, the saw was very accurately set up from the factory and has seen lots of use mainly on construction 4x2 soft wood and sheet plywood and has proved its worth. I like the way it folds up and stows away after use as I am not blessed with lots of workshop space.”

“Awesome, my first place to buy from, i recently bought the s355mcs and had a slight issue with missing blade, but a call to cs and an hour later i collected one, cs, tech despatch, all depts are the best ive recommended at least 15 people who have gone on to repeat purchase 100% satisfaction, i swear by them love em,”

“I called Evolution support whilst having issues cutting stainless steel with an ancient saw of theirs. Support by phone and email was top notch. “Huge Evolution fan get them on your tool team. The disc cutter and its ability handle imperial brick from a deeper cut saved some time on this slap through and the blade is amazing. The hoover has a powerful blow feature for shifting dust out of awkward areas and good suction power. The reciprocating saw made light work of cutting through the mortar and only 30 minute charge.”

“The Evolution R255TBL+tablesaw is excellent in all respects, ease of use and accuracy especially. However I find the very high riving knife position irritating. I lost count of the number of times this had to be removed and re-attached during my last project. I worry that I will forget to put it back one time and have a nasty accident.”

Kevin, we will be making an accessory low-profile riving knife that sits just below blade height for those times when you don't want to make a thru-cut. The current riving knife set-up offers a balance between depth of cut, eliminating pinching on long cuts and dust extraction for different size workpieces. But we hear you, and a shark-fin style riving knife is on the accessory list, 2-3 months.
