“The zero tolerance upgrade makes the rage 5s useable as it should have been from day one. The part is well made and allows the saw to make accurate, level thin cuts. The saw is now working as it should have been. BUT....I cannot give it 5 stars as it's pretty off to have to pay an extra 10% of the original purchase price just to have a tool that does now what it should have done when bought. I would be more than happy to hear from someone at Evolution and have them attempt to justify that to me. Better still, refund my "upgrade" costs, paid to make a product work as it should!”

“I been looking for a concrete circular saw and came across the website in google search and I’ve ordered it straight away because the price is so good compared to competitors, although there was a small system issue and I’m still waiting for my order to arrive which should have been with me a week ago, contacted customer service who resolved the issue efficiently, now looking forward to my first diy project, will post another review when I use the tool”

“I have just purchased the fury5-s a very nice looking bit of kit. Sturdy and very easy to build up, has plenty of power and the guide rail (fence) is very accurate when set up properly the only down side the this great saw is the miter slide as its no snug enough in its slot and gives a little deviation other than that this little table saw is well worth its money.”

“Over the last couple of years, I have purchased a mag drill, compound miter saw, chop saw, and two circular saws. Overall am very pleased with the products. I live in Japan and have been ordering Evolution products from both the UK and America. The freight forwarding adds a bit of a delay, but the time it took from when I placed the order to delivery to the freight forwarder has always been on time. I am not too impressed with the folding stand for the miter saw, however. It does not seem to lock in the saw very well and have been trying to come up with some sort of easy-to-manage modification. The chop saw blade guard mechanism fell apart but the application of Locktite upon re-assembly remedied that issue. I have been cutting steel with the same blade for well over a year and a half. I would have easily gone through well over 50 abrasive wheel blades for the amount of cutting I have done. Mostly 2.5 to 5 mm steel pipe and angle. Be cautioned that when cutting small pieces of steel, the piece tends to kick out and become a projectile. The cast tab, behind the blade which helps guide the metal chips into the collector bin, broke off as a result of one such incident. The mag drill I have been equally impressed. My 12mm cutter and center pin did however shatter after scores of holes were cut, which was probably due to the backing of the steel bar I was drilling at the time. I set up a makeshift drill press on a piece of 20mm steel plate to fabricate dozens of identical brackets. Overall, my experience with the products has been beyond fantastic and well worth the investment. I have absolutely no regrets!”

“The replacement zero clearance plate did not fit I had to file away part of the bed of the saw to make it fit properly not a big problem but disappointing it did not fit straight out of the box.”

“DIY: Already had an Evolution dual bevel sliding miter saw with multimaterial blade, with miter saw stand - now for more than 3 years. Great tool - used on wood, plastic, aluminium, 5 mm box mild steel; the saw stand is essential for the longer pieces. Continuously being used, Replacement blade easily obtained, Absolutely no regrets, would purchase the same again. Now purchased the portable Evolution Rage5-S table saw and Evolution metal saw horse with folding legs (prompted to purchase on online site) for a flooring project; great table saw with rip and miter guides - so far easy to use, no issues. My only criticism is the saw horse stands - which I was prompted to purchase and wanted for the 'longer pieces'. Unfortunately, these are a fixed 'standard height'; completely the wrong height for use with the table saw, nor usable with the miter saw stand ! Disappointed, as I had expected, being supplied by Evolution, for them to be usable with the table saw & / or mitre saw stand”

“Good table saw, some of the frame was misaligned and some parts missing, but a quick call to customer support, had the missing parts posted , so 5 stars to customer service but only 4 for the saw”

“The saw is robust, minor drops don't affect it. Very comfortable to use, feels very steady. Track is adequate, but the chip guard is too brittle and fractured and chipped on the first cut with high count tooth blade. Saw tends to wander in track until second engagement lock fits into the track.”

“not sure where the oil is coming from but I have 2 of the s380cps and they both leak oil. one started a couple of weeks after we started using it and the other one was leaking when I opened the box.”

“Purchased Evolution 8 amp battery to go in an Erbauer wet & dry vacuum, was told that they last a long time, had 30 minutes continual use and had one bar left on the battery, dunno if this is good, bad or ugly but as they are compatible with Erbauer I feel it's a win win situation.”
