“This saw does everything it say on the box /You tube. Cut though metal sheeting really well. Very happy with saw.”

“We have used the saw to cut aluminum several times and it works great. Just as advertised. Smooth finish cut. We would have to take time with each piece on a belt sander to clean up the edges with our previous saw. Saves us time on the actual cut and then also saves time by not having to clean up the edges.”

“I have bought an evolution chop saw 3d and the casing needs to more durable i used it on first day and the cap that covers the little circuit on the chop saw motor just came off. I need a Replacement for it now.”

“Worked like a charm. Cut through wall block and pavers with ease. Considered renting a saw but convenience of having the saw on hand when needed without having to run to rental store more than justified the cost.”

“I've been very satisfied with my Rage 2. I also own a rage B circle saw with no complaints. I have used 2 Evolution blades for the Rage 2. One being the general purpose that comes with the machine and the other being the steel cutting blade. Before this saw and not steel cutting blade I never knew I could cut steel with a perfectly clean Edge. Even the general-purpose blade but still clean and cold. Your product comes just as advertised. “This low rating is more a reaction to what I consider to be very poor customer service. If the ethos of a company is to lever as much money out of the customers as possible then I do not want to continue my relation with them. My beef is very small.. two foot blocks fell off my Rage 3b mitre saw and they wanted me to pay for new ones. A breakage or worn out components I readily accept responsibility for but bits that drop off due to poor construction should be an issue for Evolution ..not for me..so in a fit of pique I made my own blocks out of dowels.. job done ..bit with a low regard for their company policy as a result..it’s a shame.”

“My first evolution tool and on my first project - so far so good. I am new to using a mitre saw. I think it is less noisy than I expected. I like the laser guide. I have a very efficient Festool workshop extractor connected but I find I am getting a lot more debris around the cutting area than I would have expected. I anticipate I will be able to review more comprehensively when I have used it more.”

“Had a Rage 7s jigsaw for a few years now. I'm on the 4th blade now,snapping one and wearing the others.It cuts through most materails includtng metal(checkerboard steel and alumiun sheet)plastic and wood.Had the blade holder come apart twice due to me letting the saw bouce.But due to the parts diagrams online it's easy to find and order the bits cheaply.Much better than other jigsaws.Also had the genny engine combo a few years back worked well,but had to get bigger genny for the bus.”

“Excellent product. I use it for DIY and it tackles ever job I’ve thrown at it. Construction is robust giving accurate cuts. Clamp looks feeble but does the job really well. Overall very pleased and would highly recommend this saw.”

“Poor / slow response time for an email enquiry . Initial response 2/3 days , still waiting for the follow up email to come. Just looking for saw bench mounting brackets and if they are available separately ?? Comfirmed which ones they were on the email.”

“I got the 255sms+ mitre saw. It is very well built and it came well packed. The blade has an error of under 0.4 degree when slid-out. The bevelled angles were spot on. The laser was perfect which in some other reviews i read wasnt. Mine exactly where the blade left side meet the work peice. I assembled it myself if you plan to do it alone. however if you ever have to disassemble it you would need an extra pair of hands for unlocking the sliding rods. it does not have a brake but it comes to rest in 3-4 secs. Its not extremely loud and has a soft start which is great. I particularly like the slide rail cover that i got with the plus version. Came with a dust bag. I paid £151.99 on Amazon for this when it was on offer. Bought it to cut 14mm bamboo flooring which is twice the strength of oak and does it with ease with a 80T blade. I would have liked: - standard 30mm bore mounts - measurement on the left as well. - the correct instruction manual. None of the above was a deal breaker for me and i had shortlisted this saw with the Bosch 8 series (double the price). Went with this and not regretting it.”

“The sliding mitre saw has proved to be an excellent machine. Good quality and a performance to match. I now wonder how I managed without it in the past. Laser beam dust protectors needs to be cleaned after every use As these can get scratched during normal use I would recommend cling film for added protection and convenience but it’s ten out ten for this product from me”
